A Conversation with INGRID LEÓN & BOB JAMES

Having past opportunities to perform and tour with members of Talking Heads, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, James Brown, P-Funk and many others, Ingrid León & Bob James joined together in 2023 to compose, rehearse & record 60 songs together calling the project "Duo".  Defining a unique blend of  intricate Brazilian Jazz with a light hearted Latin Pop sound, the Duo in 2024 has received 100+ glowing reviews from journalists, radio play (currently in rotation in 18 countries) professional playlist curators and music media outlets.  The Duo is also composing for 3 music sync companies in Los Angeles for upcoming movies in 2025.   The Dúo Band is a well-seasoned group of world class studio musicians consisting of Ingrid, 4 percussionists and 3 keyboardists (including Bob), They have collectively recorded on over 1,000 major label songs and 100+ famous artists.  Ingrid León & Bob James will bring their visually and sonically exciting new show  to live audiences around the globe in 2025 to select festivals and concert venues in Brazil, Mexico, USA and Europe.
