A crazy day!

from María Trusa · host Maria Trusa

A crazy day! That is the reflection of the day. Today, from the moment that I woke up, I somehow felt completely discombobulated.   All of my routines were off and I couldn't seem to be able to get myself back.  I went to the office and I was off.  I would start different projects and wouldn’t finish them.  I went into a different task and I didn’t finish it.  I started a conversation and even with the conversation I felt like I was  struggling to get the words out.  In the middle of the day, I decided to accept it because I realized that I was putting too much energy into trying to get myself back which was extremely frustrating.   The level of productivity that I normally have was minimal today.  I could not figure it out but when I accepted it, I embraced it.   Ironically, I could feel it in my body and I started to feel less stressed.  I could actually feel myself a little more focused, even though I never got my groove back.  I was still pretty off considering how I normally am including this podcast.   I normally do my podcast in the mornings but today, I am doing this podcast at 7:30pm.  Nonetheless, I like to make sure that I complete the task even if it is later on.  To me, doing these podcasts is something that I'm committed to Monday through Friday.  I knew that I would do it but I needed to do it when my body and mind were ready.   That time came with embracing the moment.   Actually understanding that we are going to have off days and that it is okay to have them.   When you are off, you need to accept it.   Obviously, those days will be minimal but when they aren’t, it is much easier to just go with the flow than actually fight it.   So my ask for you is that when you do have moments or days like this, that you find it within yourself to accept and embrace it.  Only then, you'll have the opportunity to reflect, reset and reconnect.
