Instead, Allen quotes from other non-Calvinists who agree with his conclusions. Dr. Cole specifically addresses Allen's treatment of the verb "foreknew" (proginosko) in Romans 8:29-30. He demonstrates how Allen's strong bias against Calvinism has hindered his ability to examine the linguistic and exegetical issues in this text critically.
