A Gift To You From You: Self - Pride

Recently I was reminded of an astute and treasured metaphor from my guides: Your body is a light fixture; its bulb is your Light. We all came to this physical world to expand our Light’s brilliance and one of the most powerful avenues to increase your Light is to love yourself with nonjudgmental self-pride. Undoubtedly many of y’all are now thinking of 10,000 reasons why you can’t do that, or deserve to do that, such as you’ve done something detrimental to yourself and others repeatedly. My response? That was yesterday, this is today, this moment, which is all you and I really have anyway.    Without self-pride, your life can be unmanageable and ever the slippery slope.  Here’s what my guides have to say about self-pride: What happens to those who lose their pride? They become depressed, they forfeit their freedom, they are easily manipulated, putting themselves in situations where there is abuse and the future feels hopeless. It’s comparable to a bird placed in a tree without having wings to fly, for it is pride that gives it wings and the ability to soar. Consider taking these words with you today and putting them into soaring action: “In this moment and onward, I choose pride in myself; it is my loving and joyful right.”  Your guides and those on the Other Side will support you upon your request. Plus, your Light will expand with brightness, so bright that you and everyone one else around you might just have to put on sunglasses!
