The African impala is a remarkable creature — capable of leaping over 10 feet high and covering more than 30 feet in a single bound. But in our zoos, they are often kept behind a simple 3‑foot wall. Why? Because impalas will not jump unless they can see where their feet will land. This behavior is a powerful metaphor for Christian faith. Just as the impala’s ability far exceeds the height of the fence, believers are called to trust God beyond what is visible.
