This is me, practicing what I preach. Journaling, feeling, processing and finding clarity and peace within the chaos inside of my body. This was a really heavy day for me. A day where a situation that has been silently following me around for years decided to surface. SO instead of ignoring it, distracting from it, or becoming overwhelmingly trigger and consumed by it. I did what I always do. I put my practices to work. I felt, I wrote, I moved my body, I listening to music, I sat in stillness and listened to what my inner voice wanted to say, I moved through it, I welcomed all the feels and I came out on the other side with love, some clarity and tons of grace. I spared you the details of the story because none of that matters. What matters here is the fact that we get to sit with the heaviness in order for it to move THROUGH us instead of getting stuck INSIDE of us. It's safe to feel.
