A Journey to Find Peace After Heartbreak | Ashlee Boyson

Ashlee talks about her journey to find peace after the murder of her husband Emmett. Emmett was shot and killed in a Walgreens parking lot by the husband of a secret mistress. Ashlee was made a widow at only the age of 28 with 5 young kids. Her husband's death left her looking for answers, while also feeling broken. To help heal, she starting writing and sharing her pain with others. She is now the author of a book series, 'The Moments We Stand'. She also founded the nonprofit A Reason to Stand, which helps those who have survived trauma. Ashlee remarried and has 6 kids, with 7 on the way!
