A long period of treacherous weather lies ahead

Arctic high pressure to our north and a southwest flow aloft are going to butt heads the next few days. Light overrunning precipitation is expected later tomorrow and Sunday morning. A long duration of freezing drizzle may occur until later Monday night when a strong system affects us. This could become a heavy freezing rain or sleet event.
