A Mentor’s Impact Before my professional career launched many years ago, I found myselfworking for an Electrical Contractor while in college. Marvin was anamazing man and taught me the trade. He also taught me so manylessons on life, business, relationships and so much more. We grewclose and maintained a tight friendship for meany years with himcoming to visit me each year on his birthday. As my career began, I remember a time where I struggled with how Iwould repay Marvin for all that he had taught me. I lamented thatoften until, one day, I realized that I could NOT repay him. What ICOULD do is be a mentor to other young people coming up. The rest ofmy career has been spent mentoring hundreds of young people, onmany things including the lessons Marvin taught me many years ago.In March of 2022, I lost my dear friend and mentor and I hope this spothonors his memory.
