Jaron says flatly that Trinidad Chambliss is the best quarterback in college football — and that he had him there last season, over Fernando Mendoza. He also thinks LSU could start 1-3, and he's not backing off his Sam Leavitt skepticism. 🥚 Is the Egg Bowl coming back — and does Mississippi State win it? Jaron gives a 23-20 Bulldogs pick, but with a specific condition attached: if Ole Miss arrives at 9-2 needing the win to reach the Playoff, he thinks Ole Miss takes it. It's the 10-1-and-already-in scenario, or the 8-3-and-already-out scenario, where he thinks the Bulldogs shock them.
