Daniel Morcombe was just 13 years old in 2003 when he was abducted from the Sunshine Coast in QLD. It took over 8 years for his remains to be found and for a resident of the coast to be charged with his murder. The Morcombe family were faced with every parents worst nightmare and there is not a resident in Queensland who isn't familiar with the heartache this family has endured. Bruce and Denise are well known for their courage to make a difference in the lives of children by providing resources to keep children safe and the work they do with The Morcombe Foundation is truly inspiring and impactful.
