Hey, it’s Amy Newmark with your Chicken Soup for the Soul and I’m excited about sharing stories with you from our new book about the spirit of America. Chicken Soup for the Soul: Celebrating the Spirit of America is a fun read, and an inspiring one too, especially these days with Americans so divided. You know, I don’t think at this time ten years ago I could have told you how my friends and family members were voting. It wasn’t something that defined us. But today, we all seem to know what everyone’s politics are, and we are so focused on what divides us that we’ve forgotten what unites us. Our new book goes back to our roots as Americans, with stories that showcase our pride in our country, our industrious nature, our creativity and can-do attitude, our kindness. That’s the true spirit of America.
