From the NAACP convention in Chicago: the cases of Nolan Wells and Karmelo Anthony have raised concerns about the treatment of Black youth and the narratives that shape public perception before due process can take its course. Black communities question whether the systems designed to protect them are working fairly and equitably.    From the stage, Larry Hoover’s mother makes a plea for his clemency. Larry is a reformed man who served 50+ years in prison for his role founding the Gangster Disciples.    Remember the church protest in Minneapolis that got Don Lemon and Georgia Fort arrested?
