Welcome back to A Pod of Their Own, an all-women led Home Run Applesauce podcast where we talk all things Mets, social justice issues in baseball, and normalize female voices in the sports podcasting space.  This week, we begin by bemoaning the lack of activity by the Mets, but really also across all of baseball. The stove: she is very cold. But there have been crumbs of rumors involving the Mets, who are still seeking to add a starting pitcher and an outfielder.   We also say more power to Alex Cohen for simply logging off. In the second half of the show, we talk about the A’s trying (and failing) to get a trademark for their team name, the implications the escalating situation in Venezuela has for baseball and the World Baseball Classic, and how AI is biased against women’s sports.
