A Pod of Their Own, Episode 91: The Boxed Wine of Baseball

Welcome back to A Pod of Their Own, a show by the women of Amazin’ Avenue where we talk all things Mets, social justice issues in baseball, and normalize female voices in the sports podcasting space.  This week, we begin by bemoaning how the Mets can’t seem to score any runs, despite the fact that many of their position players have returned or are close to returning from the injured list. Next, we discuss the fact that the Mets do not provide their minor league players a housing stipend, which is unacceptable and something that Steve Cohen should rectify immediately.  We also talk about the recent accusations against Trevor Bauer, the first disciplinary action under the new foreign substances policy, and the lawsuit Tyler Skagg’s family is bringing against the Angels organization.
