A simple technique to reset your mind when you are having a hectic day - Ep. 13

from The Mindful Path · host Isabelle Griffith

We all have hectic days, where we feel that our mind is going into complete overdrive and our body feels tense. S.T.O.P. is a simple mindfulness technique, which any of us can practise at any time.  We can take a S.T.O.P. when we want to find stillness and reset our mind before re-engaging with the rest of our day.   When we are in worry, stress or overwhelm mode, our mind isn't functioning at its best. If we can quieten down the stress and worry chatter going on in our mind, find a place of peace and calm, we are better able to reflect, think clearly, and make useful decisions.  The holiday season tends to be a busy time for a lot of us. This is the perfect opportunity to practise taking a S.T.O.P. when things become too much!
