He focused on Murdochy, imagining him in pain and helplessness. DJ Flip envisioned a trap, one that would send both the seahorse man and Bazel into the depths of the underworld. With the turn of a knob, he created a mesmerizing illusion, pulling the two enemies into a spiral of sound. DJ Flip: “Let the realms below claim those who covet my life!” DJ Flip said to himself as the music stopped. The floor beneath the feet of him and his wife began to spin violently as they stood on the edge of the floor that didn’t move. The spin created a whirlpool spectrum of light. At that moment, the illusion shimmered, and Murdochy and Bazel vanished.Instead of triumph, Flip felt an emptiness gnaw at his heart. In his pursuit of vengeance, he had lost sight of the love he shared with Amarah. As the music faded, he glanced toward her, only to find her expression clouded with sorrow rather than joy.Amarah: “Jeffrey, what have you done?” she asked, voice trembling. “You sought to rid us of threats, but at what cost? Your heart was once filled with love, not hatred.” DJ Flip felt like he was going to crumble. The reality of his actions was striking him like a bitter tide. As the echoes of his melody turned into whispers of despair, he realized that jealousy had blinded him to the thought of love.
