Shadows Beneath the Surface Part One 4:6:26 10.49 PM
Story: Shadows Beneath the Surface Part OneStory by: Gail NoblesPodcast CoverBy: Gail NoblesMeanwhile DJ Flip was hiding in the bushes watching Sphinx Bazel get beat up by the Navy Men. They punched and kicked him but Sphinx Bazel was tough. Flip saw the retired group of Navy Men that he hired to spy standing with Amarah. Flip heard the Captain say: Tell us where Flip is.Sphinx Bazel: I told you, I do not know where the man is. I don’t even know how I got way out here in Africa. We were swallowed beneath his floor at his house in the U.S. I don’t remember anything else.Captain: Swallowed beneath the floor.Sphinx Bazel: You can believe it or not. That’s what I said.Captain: Oh I believe you or we wouldn’t be standing here now. We came all this way to get you because I know something’s not right.Sphinx Bazel: Well, if you’re asking me, you’ve got the wrong man. It’s Flip. As a matter of fact, he’s got the right name. Somehow, he has flipped the whole world around. The Captain began to walk back and forth with his hands behind his back looking at Sphinx Bazel and looking at Amarah. He said to Amarah: And you said you saw some - some sea monster.Amarah: Yes, believe it or not. It happened. As DJ Flip hid in the Bushes spying on everyone trying to hear what everyone was saying he thought: I have caused Amarah great misery. How did I get into this mess? How do I get out? DJ Flip sneaked on board the captain’s ship. . He crouched beneath a pile of old tarps on the ship, the salty sea breeze carrying the whispers of the Navy Men across the deck. He could hear the Captain's relentless questioning grow more intense as Sphinx Bazel clung to his story, desperately trying to convince the Captain that he did not know where Flip had vanished to.Hours passed, and as dusk began to cast long shadows across the deck, Flip felt the tension thicken. The ship was anchored just offshore, the moonlight glinting off the water like scattered diamonds. Flip's heart raced. He needed to act, but how? He couldn't come out of hiding just yet—not with Amarah and Sphinx Bazel in the crosshairs. You're listening to the Tale of DJ Flip. Story by Gail Nobles © 2026.DJ Flip

Amarah’s Escape & Sphinx Bazel Found 11:4:25 4.19 PM
Story: Amarah's Escape & Sphinx Bazel FoundStory by: Gail Nobles © 2025Cover Illus. by: Gail NoblesAmarah awoke the Captain as she charged at the drunk Navy man, shouting. After delivering a swift kick, the Navy man tumbled to the floor. Retrieving her baton, Amarah directed the Captain to her cabin to explain the situation. She told him that the Navy man had attempted to steal from her. The Captain instructed two guards to detain the drunken sailor, stating, “I’ll handle him in the morning. He’s had too much to drink.” Once everyone left Amarah’s cabin, she stepped outside for some fresh air and signaled to the ship that was trailing them. The retired Navy men recognized her signal and sent a lifeboat to her. Kim boarded the lifeboat, making her escape. She climbed aboard the other ship, relieved to see her husband’s friends, hopeful that they would locate her husband before the other crew could. The next morning, the Captain discovered that Amarah was missing. He sensed that the other ship was following him, but his primary concern was finding her husband, not Amarah. Upon their arrival in Africa, the Captain reassured Amarah that her husband would be located, warning her to refrain from any foolishness. The Captain quickly tracked down Sphinx Bazel who had been missing with Flip. He shackled the large man and brought him aboard their ship, where he towered over the rest of the crew. They tried to extract information about Flip from him, but he insisted he didn’t know where he was. The Navy men resorted to punching and harassing him, leaving Amarah increasingly worried.DJ Flip

Amarah’s Baton 8:17:25 8.10 PM
Story: Amarah's BatonStory by: Gail Nobles © 2025Cover Illus. by Gail NoblesAmarah’s anxiety and anger increased with each passing moment. The Navy was searching her home for her husband DJ Flip, they had uncovered the truth about the colossal seahorse monster, and they were also searching for Sphinx Bazel. They intended to take Amarah in for questioning. Amarah remained calm, hoping they would locate her husband, and decided to accompany them to address their inquiries. She brought her baton with her, which served not only as a weapon but also as a phone and could be extended. She anxiously awaited a call from her husband. All she could tell the Navy personnel was that her husband had vanished with the seahorse monster and Bazel into the underground level. The officers kept Amarah away from her home for a while as they conducted their investigation. The Navy discovered a trail leading from the underground floor. They boarded their naval ship to pursue the three individuals they were searching for. Amarah was aware that some of the Navy personnel were corrupt, while others, retired and serving on another ship, were good friends with her husband.Amarah asked, “Where are we going?” Captain Bill replied, “To Africa.” The ship navigated the river near the mountains where Amarah lived. Meanwhile, the retired Navy crew followed behind on another ship, hoping to locate Flip first. Amarah journeyed alongside Captain Bill and his crew, wishing to join the retired team on their ship.During the voyage, Amarah rested in her cabin alone. When she awoke, she found one of the Navy men searching through her duffle bag. He was drunk and trying to take her baton. “Put that back!” Amarah shouted. She was skilled in reclaiming the baton from the intoxicated man and was well-versed in using it. That night, she charged at him, causing him to cry out in pain and wake the captain. You're listening to the Tale of DJ Flip. Story by Gail Nobles © 2025DJ Flip

Sphinx Bazel in Africa 2 7:22:25 6.00 PM
Story: Sphinx Bazel in Africa 2Story by Gail Nobles © 2025Illustration by Gail NoblesDays turned into weeks. The women, their initial fear slowly giving way to curiosity, brought Bazel food: fruits he didn't recognize, roasted tubers, and sometimes, small, cooked animals. One day, the eldest woman, the one who had saved his life, approached the cage. She held out a clay bowl filled with water. Instead of just setting it down, she knelt, her eyes meeting his. She dipped a cloth into the water and gently wiped his face, removing the grime and sand that had accumulated. It was a simple act of kindness, of recognition, of shared humanity. Bazel reached out and gently took the cloth from her, mirroring her action. He washed his own face, then offered the cloth back to her.A small, hesitant smile flickered across the woman's face. Over time, understanding bloomed. He learned to communicate in simple ways, drawing in the sand, using gestures, slowly picking up a few words of their language. He learned about their lives, their traditions, their fears, and their joys. He helped them with their crops, sharing knowledge from his world, and in turn, he learned from them the ancient wisdom of survival and strength. One day, after many moons had passed, the woman approached the cage. She held a knife. Fear gripped Bazel, but he saw not malice in her eyes, but sorrow. With a silent nod, she cut the vines that held the cage together. He was free.He could have left, returned to his old life, told his incredible story. But something had changed within him. He had learned something profound about the human spirit, about the power of compassion, about the interconnectedness of all things. He chose to stay. He had found a new home, a new family, a new understanding of himself and the world. The cage that imprisons us is not always made of vines or bars. Often, it is built of fear, prejudice, and a failure to recognize the shared humanity in those who seem different. True freedom comes not from escape, but from the willingness to see beyond our own limitations and to embrace the kindness that can be found in the most unexpected of places, even within the faces of those we initially fear. For it is in understanding the "other" that we truly understand ourselves, and only then can we unlock the cage that binds our hearts. You're listening to The Tale of DJ Flip. Sphinx Bazel In Africa 6:27:25 5.19 PM
Story: Sphinx Bazel in AfricaStory by: Gail Nobles © 2025Illustration by: Gail NoblesSphinx Bazel traveled extremely fast speed down one of the streams emerged from the aquarium room floor below through a tunnel fighting the seahorse monster. He nearly drowned and alone ended up in Africa. The sea monster had magical powers that caused instant teleportation. Bazel’s body laid on the sand. Some African women stood around him. To them, Bazel was handsome. The eldest of the women gave him CPR. His brain was suffering from lack of oxygen. She tried to restore oxygen flow. The Egyptian nearly drowned. The women feared Bazel as he opened his eyes and came through, and they put him in a large cage to feed him.Bazel woke with a gasp, sand clinging to his eyelashes. He coughed, seawater sputtering out of his lungs. Blinking, he focused on the dark faces peering through the bars of a cage woven from thick vines. Confusion warred with terror. He remembered the aquarium room, the surge of water, the bizarre seahorse monster… and then nothing. Now, he was here, a strange, gawked-at specimen in a foreign land. You're listening to The Tale of DJ Flip. Story by Gail Nobles © 2025.DJ Flip

Gateway-Railway 3:27:25 1.18 PM
Story: GATEWAY - RAILWAYSearch Warrant Beneath the SurfaceStory by: Gail Nobles © 2025Sounds by: Pixabay.comDays passed without a word from DJ Flip since he descended into the underground floor. Navy officers approached Amarah regarding her husband, aware that he was likely with an enemy. Their suspicions grew, as they had been monitoring the house and knew about the underground floor. Armed with a search warrant, they proceeded to inspect the premises. Overwhelmed with fear, Amarah allowed them to conduct their search, expressing her concern for her husband's safety and her lack of knowledge about how the floor operated. The Navy officers soon discovered the mechanism: the center of the floor had disconnected from the second level, descending to the third. The aquarium room was located on the second floor, and the method of access was kept concealed. Three streams, resembling water, emerged from the floor below, but the Navy men didn't inquire further since they were in the underground area. These streams were actually fast-moving currents that led through tunnels. They were like railways because the 3rd floor was like a roundhouse. You're listening to the Tale of DJ Flip. A Spinning Floor To The Underworld 11:1:24 2.10 PM
Music by: Pixabay.comUsage: Free to useStory and Cover art by: Gail Nobles ©️2024As Bazel and Murdochy the seahorse man stood arguing, DJ Flip’s mind spiraled with thoughts of revenge. He focused on Murdochy, imagining him in pain and helplessness. DJ Flip envisioned a trap, one that would send both the seahorse man and Bazel into the depths of the underworld. With the turn of a knob, he created a mesmerizing illusion, pulling the two enemies into a spiral of sound. DJ Flip: “Let the realms below claim those who covet my life!” DJ Flip said to himself as the music stopped. The floor beneath the feet of him and his wife began to spin violently as they stood on the edge of the floor that didn’t move. The spin created a whirlpool spectrum of light. At that moment, the illusion shimmered, and Murdochy and Bazel vanished.Instead of triumph, Flip felt an emptiness gnaw at his heart. In his pursuit of vengeance, he had lost sight of the love he shared with Amarah. As the music faded, he glanced toward her, only to find her expression clouded with sorrow rather than joy.Amarah: “Jeffrey, what have you done?” she asked, voice trembling. “You sought to rid us of threats, but at what cost? Your heart was once filled with love, not hatred.” DJ Flip felt like he was going to crumble. The reality of his actions was striking him like a bitter tide. As the echoes of his melody turned into whispers of despair, he realized that jealousy had blinded him to the thought of love. It wasn’t just Bazel he had condemned to the underworld; it was part of his own soul. You're listening to the tale of DJ Flip. Story by Gail Nobles © 2024DJ Flip

Feud in the Aquarium Room 8:1:24 3.00 PM
Cover art and Story by: Gail Nobles ©️2024DJ Flip was down in the aquarium room with Amarah, and they both heard a rumbling noise. Amarah’s eyes became large and she asked: Flip, did you hear that noise? Flip: Yea! There’s a vibration coming from the floor. The aquarium room had a movable floor but it didn’t rumble and vibrate or move. Suddenly appeared Murdochy coming through the hole of the floor which was the elevator floor. His form looked like water and a hologram. He had eyes and eyebrows like a wicked genie, and his head was like the head of a seahorse. This time nothing startled DJ Flip. He felt he had gone through the worst dealing with Ghost Boogie which is his foe of the past. He said angrily with his hands on his hip: I’ve got another enemy invading my home. Amarah was frightened. She hid behind her brave husband. Murdochy: Now you wait a minute little fella! You are on my property! You’ve got to move these walls and floors.Flip: I don’t see no sign stuck in the mud and water with your name on it! This is my property! Ain’t nobody gonna barge in my home telling me to move nothing! Sphinx Bazel stood behind the aquarium room door peeping and easedropping. He thought: This is gonna be good! Murdochy continued to speak: I will ruin any enemy that invades beneath the water. You may own the land, but I’m the chief down here. I am Murdochy and my word is law.Amarah began to speak nervously.Amarah: Leave us alone. This is our home. Murdochy: Shut up! This is Murdochy and man talk. You but out woman.Flip: Hey! Wait! You don’t talk to my wife like that! DJ Flip picked up a large fishing spear with pole he kept against the wall made of iron. But Sphinx Bazel walked in saying: Knock! Knock! I saw something strange outside of the house, Flip, and I was wondering was everything alright. The front door was unlocked. I thought I heard something, and I decided to check things out. When Murdochy laid eyes on Sphinx Bazel, he recognized him. Murdochy: BazelSphinx Bazel: And who are you? Voice In The Mountains 5:25:24 7.29 PM
Story: Voice In the Mountains Story by: Gail Nobles ©️2024Art by: Gail NoblesSpinx Bazel kept away from Amarah’s home for a while, after he saw that DJ flip built an underground room, near the river cave to her house. Not only was the house Amara’s home, but it was Flip’s home plus the property. They were living together and married, but Bazel could still spy on Amarah from a distance up high in the rocky mountains. Up high, he could look down and see everything. Sometimes Bazel would go down the mountain to get to the river cave to go for a swim, but it would only put him in grief to see what Flip had built. It wasn't easy to get closer to Amarah anymore. The walls of the underground room blocked his view. It kept Amarah inside and the glass windows were tinted from the outside. In the meantime, Bazel sat high spying and thinking how he had to leave and go back to Egypt with Katrina. He began to hold hatred in his heart for Flip wishing it had been him that Amarah had married. Bazel thought about how to get Flip out of the way so he could have Amarah. Suddenly, Bazel began to hear a small faint voice in the cool breeze.Voice: Noooo brother Bazel.Bazel began to look around. He looked up and saw the clouds moving.Voice: Thou shalt not. In anger Bazel began to speak out loud: I'm going to kill Flip! He took away the woman I love!Voice: You didn’t love her before, and now you covet. And now you want to kill. If you kill, you will be punished.Bazel: Get away from me! I'm going to kill Flip if it's the last thing I do! At that very moment, Bazel looked and saw a dark shadow covering the house of Amarah, and he saw something go down into her swimming pool with a tail of a giant seahorse.Bazel asked: What is that I see? And the voice that spoke to Bazel said: Great evil has come!Bazel: I must go down and see.Voice: Stay away Bazel. Stay away! You're listening to the Tale of DJ Flip. Story by Gail Nobles ©️2024DJ Flip

Aquarium 4:9:24 10.17 PM
Story: Aquarium Story by: Gail Nobles ©️2024Cover art by: Gail NoblesEnding music: Pixabay.comAfter DJ Flip and Amarah were happily married, things went smoothly in their lives together. Flip was then able to move in with Amarah to their new home after marrying her, but evil tried to come in. Flip had finally finished getting his underwater tunnel room built from the river cave to where he and Amarah lived. He made an aquarium room. It was like being under the sea with all the fish. Amarah loved the room. There was a movable floor that opened up to a spiral downstairs and another room to walk into. When someone didn’t feel like taking the stairs, there was a special little elevator near the stairs made in the floor to go up and down. The underwater room was a room where only DJ Flip and Amarah spent time together. They spent time together happily. But there was an evil jealousy underground in the water. It was not Sphinx Bazel, but something more jealous than him. The evil was called Murdochy the Seahorse Monster. He appeared as a seahorse man. Murdochy did not like it that DJ Flip built his dream room tunnel underwater. Murdochy: I will turn aside and go visit the home of the vinyl music wizard man and see what he has done. You're listening to The Tale of DJ Flip. Story by: Gail Nobles ©️2024DJ Flip

The Wedding 2:6:24 3.47 PM
Story: The WeddingStory by: Gail Nobles ©️2024Cover Art by: Gail NoblesMusic by: Pixabay.comUsage: FreeDomino Storm & Shelly were also invited to Flip & Amarah’s wedding. It was finally the big day in the mountains. Domino Storm & Shelly went to the wedding and brought Miss Grady with them. Domino was the best man and Shelly was the maid of honor. Katrina was one of the bridesmaids. Bazel just stood far back in the room silently. As he stood silently at the back of the room, his heart weighed heavy with a mixture of emotions. He was hurting that Amarah was getting married and was full of envy. However, he kept staring at Katrina. She was also beautiful, but not quite as beautiful to him as Amarah. He loved Katrina but loved Amarah more. As he grew up, he realized what he had lost because he had been involved with Amarah before. Bazel didn’t think he could ever get over Amarah. He didn’t think he could bear to watch Amarah get married. He stayed distant from the world around him at the wedding in the shadows at the grand wedding hall. A big crowd was there which was all of the friends that Amarah and Flip had made living in the mountains. The ceremony began. Bazel saw the bride Amarah and how beautiful she was. He yearned to be with Amarah watching every step she took down the aisle. It tore at his soul to see her walk down the aisle to another man. He watched the couple exchange their vows, and exchange rings. Bazel could not bear to watch anymore and he left out of the room right before the bridegroom kissed the bride. DJ Flip and Amarah were happily married.Bazel: It is finished. She has married him. ...DJ Flip

Amarah Warns Bazel 2:2:24 2.38 PM
Story: Amarah Warns BazelStory and Art by: Gail Nobles ©️ 2024River sound: Pixabay.comFlip was learning things from the good book and Amarah knew his innerman was good. She loved Flip and accepted the fact that he did not trust Bazel. Amarah did not want Flip to loose the trust he had in her, and she tried to keep away from Bazel, but Bazel kept trying to see her. She saw that Bazel still wanted her for himself and knew that there could be big trouble. Amarah knew both men. Bazel had a woman of his own but Amarah knew that didn’t matter to him. And it did not matter to her fiancé that Bazel had his own woman. DJ Flip did not trust him at all. Amarah hoped that if Bazel was allowed to come to the wedding, he would go on about his business with Katrina. All the waters in the ocean, seas, and rivers could not drown the love that Bazel had for Amarah. But she was about to be another man’s wife, and Bazel’s heart did covet. All of the water that he went through in the wide river could not stop Bazel for visiting Amarah and spying on her and her property. Bazel and Katrina came to America a few days before Flip and Amarah’s wedding. That’s when he had learned that something was being built underwater to Amarah’s land. He was spying and snooping around again near Amarah’s property. Amarah glimpsed Bazel ducking back down into the water from a distance. She had been peeping out her back window and she knew that she saw him. Amarah decided she would head down to the river cave to meet up with Bazel. When Amarah got there, she met Bazel. She said to him: Flip thinks you’re spying on our property Bazel. He said that he has seen you. I’ve seen you today near the property. What do you want? I never want to see you near our property again without permission. Is that understood? Bazel: I thought it was just your …. Well I’m not spying & I don’t bother nobody, Amarah. I just go swiming. When I get near your place, I turn around. Amarah: If you want to visit this river cave and swim, that’s fine. But don’t come near my property looking as if you’re spying because if Flip sees you, they’ll be trouble. Big trouble. I’m about to marry that man, and I want you and Katrina to come to the wedding. Flip doesn’t mind that. Just don’t make trouble. Besides, I got a call from Katrina wanting to know if I have seen you. I told her I hadn’t seen you. I think you better call her. Bazel began to look sad. He knew in his heart that he was doing wrong to Katrina wanting to be with Amarah, and he was getting nowhere.Amarah then said: Go Bazel! Be with her. That girl loves you. You have a blessing in your castle with you.” Then Amarah left Bazel and went back home. There are many other stories of Amarah by the river cave not told. They are written in her diary titled Compass. You're listening to the Tale of DJ Flip. Story by Gail Nobles ©️ 2024.DJ Flip

The Ski-Cycle 12:13:23 9.21 PM
Story: The Ski-CycleStory by: Gail Nobles©️2023Cover Art by: Gail NoblesDJ Flip began to notice that Amarah was offish for a whole week from him. He noticed how sad she was about their conversation on Sphinx Bazel. Amarah was just sitting around to herself at her home. She was on a long break from the music business. DJ Flip didn’t like Amarah spending too much time alone. He tried to make up with her and told Amarah to send Bazel and Katrina an invitation to the wedding. DJ Flip knew that Amarah loved the water and he knew that she loved motorcycles. For an early Christmas gift, he bought Amarah a motorcycle. But it was no ordinary motorcycle. It was a special motocycle made for the highway and water. DJ Flip had bought her a custom made Ski-Cycle.Amarah loved her gift but she also had a funny feeling about it. Little did she know that the ski-cycle came with a laptop computer. It told Flip everywhere the ski-cycle was going, where and when it took off, and when and where it stopped. DJ Flip was quite nervous about it. He knew Amarah would fix him if she found out that he was keeping tabs on her. Flip didn’t want to have to worry and wonder about where Amarah was when she was gone. You're listening to The Tale of DJ Flip. Story by: Gail Nobles©️2023DJ Flip

Fed Up With Flip 11:11:23 3.49 PM
Cover Art & Story by: Gail Nobles ©️ 2023Story: Fed Up With FlipWhen Amarah got back from checking up on Katrina and Bazel, she went to visit DJ Flip and walked up to his door outside of his camper. She over heard him talking to his retired navy buddies. Flip: Yea, I’m glad that sucker got put in jail. Maybe that will teach him a lesson about spying on my girl. And I better be hearing from her in a few minutes. She claimed she went down there to check on Katrina. Bazel is supposed to get out of jail and go back to Egypt with his girl. But that doesn’t mean nothing. He still wants my girl, and I don’t trust him. Do I trust Amarah? Sometimes I don’t know man. She’s still friends with that sucker after all that stuff he did to me. He pointed a missle gun at Amarah. Yea! She keeps saying it ain’t nothing to worry about, and that Bazel was calling her bluff. What? If she cheats on me, I’ll be using that missle gun on somebody, and I ain’t bluffing. Suddenly, DJ Flip heard knocking at his door. Flip: Got to go man. Talk to you later.Flip hangs up the phone and rushes to the door to let Amarah in. When Amarah walks in, she stops and folds her arms and gives Flip an angry long stare. Flip: Everything alright Amarah?Amarah: Is everything alright Flip?Flip: Um Yea.Amarah: You sure?Flip: Why? What are you talking about? Amarah: I heard what you said on the phone. If you’re feeling insecure and not comfortable, why don’t you talk to me? Why Flip? We’re planning to be married soon. We’ve got to trust each other. I can’t stand you not trusting me. If you can’t trust me, we shouldn’t even bother to get married.Flip: I trust you Amarah, but I don’t understand why you are still friends with Bazel after he attacked me and pointed a missle gun at you. That man can’t be trusted. Can’t you see that? Amarah: He saved me from a man that tried to attack me one morning in Flip City and asked me for forgiveness. I forgave him. Flip: What! You never told me that you were attacked.Amarah: It was during the time we had to be apart because you were afraid I would get hurt with all of the trouble going on in your life. People were attacking you. Flip: And I agreed to come here in the mountains to be with you. I thought we left Sphinx Bazel and Flip City behind. Looks as though Bazel followed us. He’s been spying on our property. He’s not just coming here for no vacation. He still wants you.Amarah: It’s just a coincidence, Flip, that he’s here.Flip: A coincidence how?Amarah thought about how she had seen Bazel at the beach. She thought: Hmm! He never did discuss how or why he was at the beach here in the mountains. Amarah: How do you know he’s been spying?Flip: I know. He’s been seen. Then Amarah thought about the day she saw Bazel at the river cave claiming to find out where she lived. Amarah: Flip, he could be spying. I don’t know. Flip: I know he’s spying.Amarah: He and Katrina wanted to know where we live because they are planning to come to the wedding. Flip: I don’t care. I don’t trust him. Story: Trapped In State of MindStory by: Gail Nobles©️2023While Amarah was away making sure things were going well for Katrina and Sphinx Bazel, DJ flip was trapped in his own state of mind. He had a lot of personal thoughts, emotions, and beliefs about his relationship with them. Amarah couldn't understand why he was still so angry at Bazel and his fear of losing her.DJ Flip became Flip Wizard the night he fought Ghost Boogie. He thought about Louis Keystone, the man who sold his turntable to the seller who lived in the railway lands. He told Flip that he was special and faster than other human beings to the ghost. Flip thought: I can outsmart Sphinx Bazel.DJ flip knew where Spinx Bazel hideout was underwater. Louis Keystone helped him to find an underwater architect. When they found the architect, Flip paid him to build a small room underwater near the river cave. The architect thought it to be challenging. So Flip decided to build the room like a tunnel without obstructing the water flow the. The architect agreed.DJ Flip had a CD bubble made for himself to travel underwater. He thought: This is my home; my office in the mountains. And when Spinx Basil comes to spy, I'll be waiting for him when I see him around the river.DJ Flip had a small device under Amara's dresser in her room that looked like a tiny clear CD. He thought: She’ll never know it's there. I'll be listening to her conversations and if Bazel ever make a call to her, I’ll know. You're listening to the tale of DJ Flip. Kangoom the Boxing Roo 9:12:23 8.52 PM
Cover Art by: Gail NoblesStory by: Gail NoblesNewsreporter effect: Mixkit.coThere was another amateur boxing man over in Africa that came to America wanting to challenge Domino Storm. But Sphinx Bazel was the man he really wanted. Kangoom told news reporters that he was challenging Domino, and heard that Sphinx Bazel was in jail. Domino was a little concerned that Kangoom wanted to challenge him. He had seen video clips across the internet how well Kangoom could box. Domino didn’t like Kangoom because he once killed a man while boxing him without a care in the world. He was like a viscous warrior. Kangoom believed in brutality and never once in his life held back his knock out punch in boxing the way he thought Sphinx Bazel did. He was following Domino in the street with news reporters because Domino always tried to avoid him. Kangoom said: Are you going to give me the opportunity to fight you man or not? I’ve been trying to get an answer from you for months. I guess you don’t want to fight me cause you’re a big chicken. You like to fight wimps like watchamacall’em, Sphinx Bazel. Domino Storm: Listen, I ain’t got no time for a chump like you, Kangoom. I fight men. Not kangaroos. What kind of hairstyle you got? You look like somebody that came from a circus act.Kangoom: Yeaaa, you ain’t never seen nobody like me, because there is no one. No one can punch like me. I want you Domino, and then I want Bazel. I want the Sphinx. Domino: And nobody can look like you. I see the problem with you already. You bite off more than you can chew. Man you don’t have a chance against me. And if you want Bazel, you better go fight him in jail. I don’t think he’s getting out any time soon. Kangoom: So you too chicken to fight me, and Bazel’s in jail. You’re both wimps.Domino Storm: We’ll, if you really want to fight me, I got to talk to my manager first.Kangoom: We’ll, get going and start talking.Domino Storm: You just be ready, and I’ve got to go.Kangoom: Ready, I’ve been ready all year cause I’ve been waiting. Angry Katrina 8:27:23 1.14 PM
Story by: Gail Nobles ©️ 2023Cover Art by: Gail NoblesSphinx Bazel was locked up for attacking the retired Navy men. He was locked up on the cruise ship. They had cameras on the ship and had proof that Sphinx Bazel attacked them. So they throwed him in cruise ship jail call the brig. The Navy men reported him to the police and they took over. When Katrina saw her boyfriend on the news that he was locked up, it made her very angry. Bazel was hardly with Katrina on their vacation in America. She didn't feel that he had been cheating, but felt that he had been doing something that was not good. Katrina felt that he had been keeping secrets from her. She didn't know who to turn to about the matter. So Katrina called Bazel’s friends over in Egypt to get him out of jail. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail. Bazel’s friends promised Katrina that they would come to America to get him out. In the meantime, Amarah called Katrina. She knew she was alone and didn't know what to do. She had had seen Bazel on the news. Like Katrina, Amarah was upset because she felt like her fiancé had something to do with Bazel being locked up p. She called Katrina to see if she was OK. Katrina: No., I'm not OK because Bazel was somewhere he shouldn't have been. Now he's locked up in jail. Amarah: I know. I saw him on the news. Katrina: I called his friends to get him out. That’s the best that I could do for him. Amarah: Are they coming? Katrina: They said that they would be here.Amarah: Is there anything that I can do? Katrina: No. I'll be all right. Don’t worry about me. When Amarah was finished talking to Katrina, she hung up the phone feeling sad. She felt a little relieved that Katrina had called Bazel’s friends to get him out of jail. Sphinx Bazel Gets Captured Again 7:28:23 6.00 PM
Sound effects: Pixabay.comStory: The Tale of DJ Flip - Sphinx Bazel Gets Captured AgainStory by: Gail Nobles ©️ 2023Cover Art by: Gail NoblesAmarah began to walk down by her pool around her yard in the cool of the evening waiting to see DJ Flip. She knew that he would be late coming. Amarah decided to walk further into the words to the river cave. She peeped inside, and there was a bridge built inside to walk across. Amarah looked down into the water, and that's when she suddenly saw Sphinx Bazel pop-up out of the water. He startled her. At first, she did not recognize him. Amarah hurriedly ran across the bridge to go back in the direction that she came from, but the sound of Bazel’s voice made her stop in her tracks.Sphinx: Anarah! Wait! It’s me, Bazel!Amarah slowed down from running and turned around to look at him. Amarah: Bazel! You scared the living daylights out of me! Sphinx: Im sorry, Amarah. I didn’t mean it.Amarah: What are you doing out here?Sphinx: Well, I was trying to find where you lived. You invited me to your wedding, and I have seen your address, and I ….But Bazel had been spying on Amarah long before her address & Amarah felt like he had been spying on her all the while. She had a “ what are you up to” look on her face. Sphinx: It’s near by! I just thought I’d take a little swim.Amarah: Hmm! hm! You don’t need to come to my house now. But I do live near here. You just follow the river in the direction I’m heading. In the mean time, stay away. Flip doesn’t want you at the house. You don’t need to visit now. Wait until the wedding, and don’t spoil your chance.Amarah didn't waste time walking away from the river cave. She went back to her house. That’s when the retired Navy men showed up to capture Sphink Bazel. Bazel saw them before they saw him. He could see them passing by the cave from a distance. They were cruising along in a small cruise ship. Bazel ducked his head down into the water. He secretly aboarded the ship and disguised himself in a coat and Navy hat that was on the ship. Spinx Bazel was angry with the Navy men. There were 5 of them on the ship. They were all standing outside on the cruise ship sun deck talking about how they captured Bazel for DJ Flip, and how he had managed to escape. They all had their backs turned from where Bazil was going to sneak out. He sneaked up behind them and began to attack. Bazel took the Navy men by surprise. He stood tall over them swinging his fist and knocking them out.But there was one in the group of the Navy men that was strong and almost as tall is Bazel. He had dreadlocks like Bazel and dressed differently than the rest of the Navy men. His name was Dante. He fought against Bazel, and that gave one of the other Navy men time to drop a net on Bazel. Now, he was captured again. You’re listening to the tale of DJ Flip. Story by Gail Nobles copyright ©️ 2023DJ Flip

Trapped In CD Bubble Chamber 6:25:23 11.12 PM

He met her through her traveling on the road as a singer. They began courting but they never got along much. Bazel wanted Amarah to settle down, but Amarah didn’t want to give up her singing career. She was about to go through the same situation with DJ Flip, but somehow they managed to work it out. DJ Flip understood a little more than Bazel did. Three months before Amarah’s wedding day, Sphinx Bazel wanted to bring his girlfriend Katrina to America to meet Amarah. He knew she was a big fan of Amarah’s, and he felt it would be another way to get closer to Amarah. Katrina was getting well and overcoming cancer. So he got her on a plane and took a trip back to America. When Bazel got to America, he gave Amarah a call and told her that Katrina wanted to meet her. Amarah didn’t give Bazel an answer right away. She had to talk it over with her fiancé. So later, they all agreed to meet at a restaurant for dinner. Katrina was excited to meet Amarah. From that day on, they were good friends. But Flip was skeptical about Bazel still and did not trust him since the day Bazel captured him as a prisoner. He saw how beautiful Katrina was, but he could tell that Bazel still wanted Amarah. Flip was not convinced that Bazel was trying to move on. Flip & Bazel wouldn’t say two words to each other. They sat listening to Amarah and Katrina. Amarah told Katrina when her & Flip had planned to get married, and she invited Bazel & Katrina to the wedding. There were some retired Navy men that had been sending DJ Flip messages about Sphinx Bazel. They had been submarine patrolling and had seen him at the beach talking with Amarah. They had also seen Bazel spying on Amarah’s property in the mountains. She had a small landscaped pool around her yard that led to a river cave out in the woods that was big enough for a small submarine. DJ Flip kept the info from Amarah that Bazel had been seen. Bazel had been swimming around on Amarah’s property & spying on her. DJ Flip had the Navy men to set a trap for Sphinx Bazel in the river cave near Amarah’s property. When Sphinx Bazel went out to spy on Amarah again, he was trapped inside a CD Bubble Chamber. It was nothing but a computer made of data. One of the Navy men was on Bazel’s side hoping he would figure out how to become the bubble. DJ Flip sketched how he wanted the chamber made, but the Navy man made a little floor for the chamber and a button. So if ever Bazel stepped on that button, the chamber would release him to become the chamber in a special missile swimsuit for traveling through water. When Bazel was caught, he stayed in the chamber panicking. The Navy men kept him hidden and trapped in the river cave. They had control over the chamber in a near by small submarine. They played with Bazel’s mind through a computer, illusions, and voices. It drove Bazel mad. That’s when he became the chamber and went speedingly through the river cave. You’re listening to Tale of DJ Flip. Story by Gail Nobles ©️ 2023.DJ Flip

Samson Sphinx Bazel 6:18:23 4.21 PM
See the video at SpotifyStory and Art by Gail Nobles ©️ 2023In America, after wrestling & breaking the jaws of a huge shark, down at the beach in the highlands, Sphinx Bazel had discovered that he had superhuman strength & abilities. He thought about the long fight he had with Domino Storm. Bazel didn’t know how strong he really was. On account of Amarah, he always held back his strong knock out punch in the 1st and 2nd fight against Domino Storm. He thought: I could have killed Domino. Now, I don’t want to fight no more. Sphinx Bazel found himself a hobby & business. He caught killer sharks and made money stewing them. That’s what he did after leaving America. He went back to Egypt. His girlfriend Katrina had cancer. He helped her heal by feeding her stewed shark. Sphinx Bazel made big headlines and TV news. He was called Sampson Sphinx Bazel for killing a huge shark with his bare hands. In Flip City, when Domino Storm saw his opponent on the news he said: I don’t care how many sharks Wiggly Man can kill. I’ll still fight him in the ring. In the mountains, Amarah and Flip watched Bazel on the news also. Flip raised one eyebrow like a wizard and said: I can have him locked away without even touching him! Amarah frowned and said: And if you go to jail, I’m not going to marry you. Stay away from Bazel. He’s not bothering you now. Let him go on about his business. He’s taking care of a woman with cancer. He ain’t thinking about me no more. Then Flip said to Amarah: And you satay away from him too. If he approaches you out in public, don’t speak to him. The man is dangerous, and he’s still jealous. You’re listening to the tell of DJ Flip. Story by Gail Nobles ©️2023.DJ Flip

Sphinx Bazel’s Goodbye to Amarah 6:16:23 5.14 PM
Ocean sound: Samplefocus.comDive into water sound: Pixabay.comStory and Art by Gail Nobles ©️2023Voices by: Gail NoblesToday’s episode: Sphinx Bazel’s Goodbye to AmarahOne day Amarah was down at the beach in the highlands while DJ Flip was busy working. Amarah loved sitting by the water on the sand. Every once and a while, she would find a pearl or two. Amarah was on vacation from singing and working in the recording studio. Just when she thought she was alone in her own world, she felt someone tall standing over her behind her. When she looked behind her, it was a tall muscular man with dreadlocks and an Egyptian beard.Amarah: Oh my gosh! Bazel, what are you doing here? It was Sphinx Bazel. He sat down on the white beautiful sand beside Amarah by the turquoise water. Bazel: What’s the matter? You not happy to see me? Amarah: I’m not suppose to see you at all in any way shape, form, or fashion. I’ll never hear the end of it from Flip. Bazel: So what you suppose to do? Close your eyes every time you see me? You can’t help it if I’m here on the beach. So where is he anyway? Amarah told Bazel a little fib.Amarah: He’s not here at the moment but he’ll be here soon.Bazel: Are you really going to marry him. Amarah: Yes, Bazel! I’m going to marry him. Bazel picked up a stick & began to sadly draw shapes & figures in the sand. Amarah had a seductive look beneath her eyelids. She began starring at Bazel. Amarah still had some feelings for him because she had been with him before. She knew his bad and good ways, and she also knew that he was sad at that moment. Bazel caught Amarah starring at him. Then Amarah looked away.Amarah: So where is the one that you love, and what are you doing here? Bazel began to stare at Amarah & there eyes met. Bazel: You’ve got beautiful eyes Amarah. Amarah was about to say something, but her and Bazel both heard a lady screaming. Lady: Shark! Help! A huge shark was after the lady dragging her into the water. Bazel raced to get to the shark to help the lady. Bazel had great strength. He jumped into the water. The lady’s leg was in the jaws of the shark. Bazel wrestled the shark and broke the jaws of the shark and Amarah stood in awe. When the fight with the shark was over, the lady hugged and thanked Bazel in the ambulance.Sphinx Bazel was known and seen by everyone on the beach. They knew he was the heavyweight champion who had been boxing Domino Storm. Sphinx Bazel was not only a champion but a hero that day. People took pictures of him and the shark and nicknamed Bazel “Samson."Bazel took the shark out of the water and threw him on the back of his truck to carry him home to stew him. Sphinx Bazel saw Amarah walking away to leave the beach. He called to her. Bazel: Amarah! Where are you going? Wait! Amarah didn’t want to be known or seen with Sphinx Bazel. He caught up with her.Bazel: Amarah, stay a little while. This will probably be my last time seeing you.Amarah was afraid to trust Bazel because of his eyes. He always looked under eyed and sneaky as if he was up to no good, But it was not always his intentions. Amarah: Goodbye, Bazel. I’m not supposed to be seen with you.Bazel: If you ever need me, call me. You know where to find me. I know I messed up and mistreated you sometimes. And you don’t have to worry. I won’t try to stand in your way and mess things up for you. I know you’ll be married soon. Amarah took a deep breath. Amarah: Did you ever apologize to Flip? Bazel: I tried. Saying I’m sorry is not good enough. He only interviewed me for the fight on account of Domino. He wouldn’t let me near him. I don’t blame him though. What I did was terrible. I couldn’t stand to see Flip with you. I don’t want to hurt nobody. I never knew what goodness was or how to receive it.Now the best thing I had is gone. You were my best friend. I know I have to keep my distance. Amarah: Yea, I’m getting married, and you’ve got to move on with that special girl you’ve got now. Maybe I’ll meet her one day. Bazel: She’s a big fan. She likes hearing you sing. Her name is Katrina. She didn’t come with me to America. Maybe next time. Amarah said goodbye again to Bazel. She wouldn’t look back at him because she knew he was hurting. He stood starring at her until she was all the way out of his sight. Bazel was getting what he thought was a last look at her Amarah. Flip WIZARD 6:10:23 1.24 AM
SEE THE VIDEO TRAILERWind: Pixabay.comRailway Voyage Emergensea music: Pixabay.comTrain sounds: Pixabay.comStory: Flip WIZARDStory and Art by: Gail Nobles ©️ 2023Voices by: Gail NoblesAfter moving his belongings to the mountains, DJ Flip wouldn’t move in with Amarah right away. They were both tempted to sleep together in the same room. DJ Flip wanted to wait until they were married. At first, it didn’t matter to Amarah, but she began to learn more and more about Flip. DJ Flip owned his radio show in the mountains inside a light weight camper trailer where he felt most comfortable. Sometimes he would travel to important events with the camper. It was mainly his home. The camper is where he slept and ate. However, Flip missed his turntable room and often thought about his magic tricks as a DJ in his spare time. He had his grandstand shows at the State Fair making himself appear and disappear using his turntables, glass, light, mirrors, and cameras on stage. Things never became real, but they made him wonder why it happened before. He kept thinking about the turntable he left in Flip City. Flip thought: It must be the turntable or maybe the records. Records have words and messages. Words have the power to heal and hurt. I was thinking of my hurt while using my hands to play records. I was caught up in the music to forget my hurt. Could it have been something I have done to make all the illusions real from before? DJ Flip thought about some things Miss Grady had told him in the past. Miss Grady: Words have real power. God spoke the world into existence. We are made in God’s image. Without telling Amarah, DJ Flip left the mountains and made a trip back to Flip City. He checked on Miss Grady and went to his house to look at his old turntable. Flip went back to the shop where he bought the turntable and told the seller his experience with it.The seller sent DJ Flip to the man that sold the turn table to him who lived near a roundhouse park in the railway lands. The man was old and he built the turntable. His name was Louis Keystone. He talked in riddles and carried on about a wheelhouse and locomotives. He loved to talk about speed and fast motion. Louis talked about direction and travel. He went on to say: Boy, you’ve got speed and motion. A lot of things are within you. Flip: But why did I see the ghost? Louis Keystone: Perhaps you have a spiritual eye. Some things can’t be explained. Flip: I meant for him to be an illusion and he got real. Louis: There are spirits of the air, and they are real. Don’t you read the Bible? Flip: So you’re saying it’s not the turntable?Louis: You’ve got strength boy & the ghost knows it too. You’ve got to be strong. He wasn’t after you for nothing. Flip: He stole my records, and took over my turntable. He’s trapped in another world, and I can’t use my turntable because using it might set him free.Louis: How did you trap him in the other world? Flip: I suppose it had something to do with me getting rid of the speed key.Louis: You’re faster than other human beings to him. You’re special. You can outsmart him. You’re witty & wise. You have an affect on other people through music and in a good way. You’re giving them hope. He knows you’re a hero. You haven’t done nothing wrong.Flip: We’ll, I certainly can’t have him going around messing with my turntables and having me throw away speed keys.Louis: Don’t let him control you. The turntable is yours.DJ Flip thanked Louis Keystone for his encouraging words. He went back to his house in Flip City. DJ Flip took out a blank CD, and he put it on the turntable. He woke up the bad ghost of boogaloo and fought him. Flip had an outer body experience and outsmarted the ghost in fast motion. He took his voice & spirit and casted him and preserved him into a blank CD. That was the night that DJ Flip became Flip Wizard. He put his turntable into his flight turntable case and took it with him to the mountains. You’re listening to the tale of DJ Flip. Today’s episode: Flip Wizard. Story by Gail Nobles ©️ 2023.DJ Flip

Turntable Realms 6:6:23 7.19 PM
Metro Scratch: Pixabay.comUnplug Sound: Pixabay.comDoor Sound (open and close): Pixabay.comStory and Art by: Gail Nobles ©️ 2023Voices by: Gail NoblesMan has a fantasy to travel to the future or the past. Books are written about time machines. But DJ Flip had something real & far worse. Amarah had discovered DJ Flips turntable room inside his home. In the room was a giant size turntable. Whenever she played a record on it, she would see images on the wall behind her. They were like holograms. One of the images Amarah saw was the Ghost Boogie (The Bad Ghost of Boogaloo). She recognized him by his red eyes. Amarah said out loud, “But Flip buried the key.”She saw Ghost Boogie begging and pleading to be set free from a spiritual realm. He was in torment. No sound from him could be heard. Amarah understood then that the key that DJ Flip had buried was a turntable speed key. She understood it to be the key that allowed Flip to switch the drive belt from one pulley-rung to another and to change the platter rotation speed. Amarah began to understand more clearly why Flip didn’t want to let go of the key. However she knew that it was more to it than that. She thought, “I’m engaged to a wizard. Maybe I shouldn’t marry him. What is he into?”Amarah was about to be sucked into another world and locked into a realm trying to find out what the turntable could do. By then, DJ Flip had pulled the plug on the turntable. Flip: Get out of here, Amarah! The images on the wall had disappeared. Flip: Let’s go now! Amarah walked out. She had questions. Amarah: Jeffrey, what are you into?”Flip: I’m not into anything but simply music. What you heard and saw was nothing more than that. You’re suppose to be helping me move some things & you’re in another part of the house snooping around. Flip took a key out of his pocket & locked the doors to his turntable room. Amarah: That’s no ordinary turntable you got in there. I’ve never seen anything like it. You’re hiding evil. What’s going on with those images showing up on the wall? Flip: They are only illusions, Amarah. It started as a magician’s trick for a show. But I never got a chance to make that show happen. Things got real. Then Amarah walked away from Flip saying, "We’ll I want nothing to do with it."Flip: It’s not my fault Amarah. Something came to me. It’s not here anymore. I never use the turntable. Only the one down at the station.Amarah stopped to turn around. She looked at Flip and said, "We’ll that one in the room can stay here. It’s not going with us to the mountains."Flip: Yes ma’am. Flip didn’t try explaining anything more to Amarah. He knew that what he had experienced could follow him. DJ Flip almost lost Amarah to the spiritual realm. It scared him & he didn’t mind leaving the turntable behind. It made him have second thoughts about getting married, and he felt that he might hurt Amarah because of his spiritual expíence in the past.On the way out the door, Amarah began to think about her spiritual experience; and how she could hear Mr. Carlston’s voice, a dead man from one of Flip’s old records. Amarah never could explain why. All she knew was she could hear him. So she wasn’t so hard on Flip. You’re listening to the tale of DJ Flip. Today’s episode is Turntable Realms. R&B Music: Samplefocus.comArt and Story by: Gail Nobles ©️2023Voices by Gail NoblesThe Boxing MatchSphinx Bazel and Domino Storm fought in the longest boxing match ever. They fought up to 30 rounds. It takes 3 minutes for each round, and one minute of rest in between rounds. The fight lasted past 90 minutes. DJ Flip recorded the longest boxing match ever for his radio broadcast. Domino Storm lost the fight very tired in the corner of the wring. Sphinx Bazel remained the heavyweight champion. The fight was called “the championship distance.” There was no knockout before the end of the match. It was an unusual fight that went way past fifteen rounds. The crowd cheered “rematch”. Meanwhile, DJ Flip & Amarah showed love to Domino Storm. They told him he was still a winner because the crowd wanted more and the fight went down in history. Shelly, Domino’s girlfriend was happy for Domino and even more happy that the fight was over.DJ Flip had promised Amarah that he would move away with her after his last broadcast in Flip City. It was time for him to go. He had to say goodbye to Miss Grady, & he started feeling sad and distant. The Grand HotelThere was a going away & engagement party for Flip & Amarah on an Island at a Grand Hotel. DJ Flip was nervous every time he had to do big things with Amarah. Flip did not want to mess things up. He wanted to please Amarah. He had anxiety about moving away and doing bigger things. Most of all, they were engaged to be married. On top of that, Amarah was intelligent and beautiful. Flip was confident in what he knew about himself. but he knew Amarah was strong and could stand on her own. He knew there were things she wouldn’t tolerate. Amarah knew that Flip was nervous about her from the day she walked into his radio station. As she held Flip’s hand walking and getting ready to dine, she felt his hand sweating. Amarah had intended to talk to Flip alone, and there were so many people welcoming her and Flip. They got all sorts of compliments how great they looked together. Flip didn’t want the attention. He wanted to be alone with Amarah.Later, after all the eating, dancing, presents, and surprises, Amarah and Flip had time alone. They were alone in a balcony room with a beautiful lake view. DJ Flip looked sharp in his new maroon colored suit. And Amarah looked stunning in her black dress with maroon trimming. She wore silver and gold jewelry perfect for every outfit. Amarah and Flip didn’t have to say a word to each other as if they knew each other’s thoughts. They got close to each other and slowly began to kiss. Amarah asked Flip knowing that he was full of anxiety in the room with her, “Do you trust me, Jeffrey?” DJ Flip: It’s always a wonderful magical moment whenever I’m with you. But I’m nervous because I’m about to marry you, and I’ve got to move away. I’ve got to leave Miss Grady. She’s been my mama and now I’m about to have you as my wife. I love you and trust you but I’m a little scared too. Amarah: I love and trust you too Flip. It’s going to be alright. …DJ Flip

Their new single titled, “Step Off” in stores now. (Crash Sound)Things were looking great for DJ Flip. He was having a good day & protesting & riots started happening again around his station and in the streets. DJ Flip was angry & upset, and Amarah was arriving just in time to see him. DJ Flip: Get away from my station! I just had this place fixed! DJ Flip was about to go into a rage. He was having fits, but Amarah was there to calm him down. Amarah: Hey Jeffrey, don't worry about it. I got you a whole new place in the mountains. It's gonna be alright. DJ Flip: Those son of a.... (beep sound)! I can't have nothing around here! Amarah: That’s exactly my point about moving to the mountains. You act like you’ve lost everything. Don't you see us standing here together? Don't you know we're on our way to make it? Your radio ratings have went up. They want you in the mountains. It's bigger and better there.DJ Flip didn't really want to leave Flip City to go to the mountains, but seeing that he could go downhill & plus lose Amarah, he began to slowly give in more and more. DJ Flip: I would go to the mountains with you right now, but I have one more broadcast here. I've got to interview Sphinx Bazel & Domino Storm. I'm not going to be able to do it here at the station. Oh (beep would)!DJ Flip just through his hands up in frustration.Amarah: You don't need the station. We can set you up some equipment at your house & do things live. We can kill two birds with one stone.DJ Flip: Good idea Amarah! I didn't think of that! You're a smart lady. I guess there’s more than one way to skin a cat. Mr. Time On Front Page News Program 4:23:23 2.44 PM
Story: Mr. Time On Front Page News ProgramStory by: Gail Nobles ©️ 2023Digital Art: by Gail Nobles DJ Flip: Tonite, front page news of the Christian leader, Mr. Time. People want to know why you left the church and you’re pastor. Was it to start your own church? Mr. Time: Well, I didn’t really leave them. I just don’t belong there or any church anymore. I wasn’t growing. I began to read and study the prophecy, and I began to see that it’s unfolding. Church members think I’m too far ahead of time. And yes, I did want to start my own church. Some things I wasn’t allowed to preach about in my pastor’s church. DJ. Flip: You’ve called some sermons old preacher’s tales preached by other preachers and have called some of the preachers hypocrites.Mr. Time: Yes, simply because they don’t preach the word, and they don’t practice what they preach. DJ. Flip: Some people seem to accuse you of teaching hate against the churches & the pastors. Mr. Time: No, that’s not what I’m doing at all. But I will say don’t listen to the false preacher, teacher, or prophet. And if you’re not learning anything from your church, seek another. DJ Flip: How do you feel about all of the protesting and violence. Mr. Time: There are so many things. We got race violence going on and other kinds of violence. Regardless of who or what you are; regardless of race, we’re all on a journey of the soul. And you want the soul to be right to meet eternal life and not damnation. DJ. Flip: So you don’t believe in racism? Mr. Time: No, I don’t or any denomination. I believe in the Word. It’s the truth all by itself. It’s beyond race. It’s beyond man-made religion.DJ Flip: Mr. Time, I want to thank you very much for coming to the program. You’re honest, sincere, and a man of courage. Thank you very much. You're listening to the tale of DJ Flip. Today’s episode: Mr. Time On Front Page News Program.DJ Flip

Decision Making In The Mountains 4:12:23 5.14 PM

Little did they know it would snow, but they took furs, coats, and blankets with them. So they were prepared. The day before it snowed, DJ Flip met important people that wanted him to have a career in radio broadcasting. They were willing to help him get more training and strongly believed in him. It all sounded exciting to Flip but it also scared him. He was use to doing things his way and on his own. It was the 2nd day in the mountains that Amarah & DJ Flip were planning to leave to go back down to what they called Flip City. When they woke up that morning, it was cold and snowing. The house that they were in was the house that Amarah had bought. It was Mr. Carlston’s house. But Amarah never told Flip who it belonged to. They slept in separate rooms across the hall from each other. They put the heat on low. Amarah was up before flip. He smelled eggs, grits, and bacon. When he looked out the window, he saw the ground covered with snow. It made Flip feel a little depressed. He gave himself a quick hot shower and got back into bed and laid there with his arms folded. Suddenly, he heard a knock at the door. Flip said: Come in.Amarah: Good morning, Flip. How are you feeling? Amarah brought Flip breakfast in bed. When Flip saw it he said: You didn’t have to do all that. Amarah: I couldn’t sleep & I was hungry, and I figured you’d be up about this time. Amarahgave him a tray of breakfast, and she had a tray for herself. She sat on the bed with Flip and ate.Flip wasn’t hungry because stress took his appetite, but after tasting how good Amarah’s cooking was, it made him eat. Flip thanked Amarah for breakfast. It made him feel a little better. Then Flip and Amarah began to talk. Flip: Did you see all the snow outside? We’re not going back home today. I’m hoping the snow will melt soon. Amarah: Why? This will give us time to be together and talk. No sooner than Amarah had spoken, Flip’s cell phone began to ring. When Flip answered it, a strange man threatened him. Man: You’re going to die! Amarah heard the voice through the phone. She got up to leave the room and took the breakfast trays with her. Amarah looked sad and worried and Flip saw it. After he received the terrible call, he went into the kitchen where Amarah was. Amarah asked: So who was that on the phone? Flip slowly answered with disappointment: Someone threatening me, but you have nothing to be afraid of. Amarah: So what are you going to do? Have you given it any thought about moving here or staying at Flip City? Flip: I’ve been thinking about it, but in the meantime I still got things to do at Flip City. Amarah kept quiet for the rest of that day. She wouldn’t utter another word. She sat looking out the dinning room window thinking about Terrence Lewis. She knew he was the ring leader behind the threat phone calls Flip was getting. Amarah also knew that if she asked Sphinx Bazel for help in getting Terrence to back off, he would do it. But she didn’t want to involve him because she knew there would be more trouble. Amarah wanted to keep her distance from Bazel. She thought if she would do it herself, Terrence wouldn’t be alive.Flip felt nervous from Amarah’s silence. He saw that she had caught a cold chill. He put on his animal furs and grabbed some wood from the front porch to put into the fireplace and started a fire so Amarah could get warm. Amarah put on her coat, mittens, and toboggan. She laid down on the sofa near the fire place. She was feeling a little tired. Flip covered her with a blanket, and she went off to sleep quickly. Flip sat in a recliner near Amarah. He fell asleep too, but his sleep was not good.Amarah woke up an hour later and saw that Flip was troubled in his sleep. While he was sleep, she went into the room where he slept and looked up the number of the threat call on his phone. She saw that it was Terrence. When Amarah was back out in the hallway, she met up with a nervous wreck DJ Flip. Flip: Amarah, I didn’t know where you were. Amarah frowned and said: I’m right here. I had to go use the bathroom. Why you so nervous? Flip: I had a bad dream that somebody came here after you. Amarah: No, I’m right here. We’ll, I was thinking about staying here and not going back and just go back to get the rest of my things to start moving in. You don’t have to if you don’t want to. Flip: Amarah I want to, but … Amarah: But what .. Flip: And I haven’t forgotten about us being engaged. Amarah: Are we? Flip: You know we are. You know we were trying to keep things a secret. Amarah: Yea, and I can’t wear my ring. That’s the reason we need to get away from Flip City. There is nothing there for us but trouble and envy. It’s getting to the point that we can’t even live our lives together. We can’t even see each other. I don’t want to live that way with you. Flip: Well, if you stay here, maybe it will be safe, and I can come up later. Then we can get married. You won’t have to worry about that engagement ring for long. Just let me finish out what’s on my schedule in Flip City, please. Amarah: Alright Flip. I’ll go back with you and pack my things. Then I’ll come back here and wait for you, but I won’t wait forever. Amarah was worried that she wouldn’t have Flip for very long, and Flip was worried that he wouldn’t have Amarah very long, but they both went on back to Flip City in agreement. You’re listening to the Tale of DJ Flip. Two Lovers With Plans For The Future 2:21:23 3.53 PM
Orchestra: Samplefocus.comDoorbell: Samplefocus.comLong Kiss: Mixkit.coStory by: Gail NoblesComputer Art by: Gail NoblesNow you know so far this is a story about a man and his dream. His dream to be a Disc Jockey came true. Now he has another dream to marry the young woman he fell in love with. Things were only getting worse with DJ Flip. He wasn’t having any good luck in Flip City. DJ Flip wasn’t even sure if Amarah was still his girl. He tried to stay away from Amarah for a while because of his fears of her getting hurt. But it was killing him to be apart from her. Flip tried to call her, but she wasn’t answering her phone. So one night he drove in a different car to Amarah’s house & parked in her backyard. Flip got out and rung her doorbell. Amarah didn’t like the fact that someone was at her back door. She peeped to see who it was, and she saw that it was Flip. In a hurry, she opened the door to let him in. After Amarah let Flip in, she closed the door behind her, locked it, and she stood and rested her head against the door with her hands behind her back. Amarah stood starring at Flip and she said: It’s good to see you, but I’ve been thinking about giving you up. Flip: We’ll, you know how it’s been. There has been trouble for me, and I didn’t want you involved. I don’t want you getting hurt.Amarah: I keep waiting for you, but you know I can’t wait forever. I miss you.Flip: I miss you too. I’m tired of playing the game like we’re not together. Things are getting tougher. I’ve got some big broadcasts coming up. One with Domino Storm & Sphinx Bazel. They’re planning another fight, and one more with the Christian leader, Mr. Time. Amarah saw that DJ Flip was heading for the big time in his career as a disc jockey regardless of all the trouble. She asked him: Sit down Flip. Tell me, what do you think would actually happen with all the violence around you going on if you put those two broadcasts on the air? DJ Flip: I don’t know. It might cause more jealousy, & I might get shot again by the gangsters. Amarah: No, I don’t mean what would happen to you, Flip. But to the people. DJ: We’ll, a riot might start.Amarah: Or things could change & change for the better. Considering how big the Christian leader is and how big boxing is, it’s a big thing for a lot of people, and it all depends on you. You’ve been making a difference for people all along. The decision would prove what kind of man you are. DJ: The only kind of man that I know I am is I’m a man that loves you and want to be with you and afraid of loosing you. I don’t know what I’m going to do. Amarah: I might can help you, Flip, if you’re willing to move away with me. I bought a big house up in the mountains. It’s rich up there in music. You can move your station there. People know you there. I’ve been telling them about you. They want you there.DJ Flip: What!? You’re planning to move?Amarah: It’s too small here for us Flip. You don’t have to say anything now. At least take a day off and come with me to the mountains and see. Don’t say nothing now. Just think about it. Okay? DJ Flip felt a lot of pressure. He knew that if he wanted to keep Amarah, he would have to go along with her. Amarah knew Flip was feeling a lot of pressure. She sat close to him & held his hand. DJ Flip: Alright Amarah. I’ll go with you just to see how things are.Amarah gave Flip a big kiss. She was happy that he agreed to take a trip to the mountains with her. You’re listening to the Tale of DJ Flip. The Influence of DJ Flip 1:31:23 2.34 PM
Story: The Influence of DJ FlipStory by: Gail NoblesPhoto credit: Pexels.comDJ Flip is the best American Disc Jockey around. He’s been a threat to other disc jockey’s in his town. His dearest friend, Miss Grady, talks about his childhood. Miss Grady: We’ll, I’ve been knowing Flip since he was a little boy. His parents raised him good. He was a very good boy, and it’s sad to say that his parents were killed by some very bad guys. He would come to my house and eat sometimes and listen to music. He basically finished raising himself, and I would encourage him to go to school. He did finish & he became a disc jockey. None of the radio stations would give him a job. So he bought himself a building and started his own thing.Announcer: After DJ Flip became a disc jockey, he began to recognize talent in his community. What really made him famous is when he recognized a young talented woman named Amarah. Amarah: We’ll, I’ve been knowing Flip since I was very young. We had been apart for a long time, and one day I walked into his station and asked to collaborate with him. He played my records, and people started calling in, and I’ve been known ever since. Announcer: DJ Flip not only recognizes musical talent, but he also recognized Domino Storm the boxer. And now he wants to recognize the Christian leader, Mr. Time. DJ Flip: We’ll, I’d like to recognize Mr. Time because we are living in the time that he’s talking about. Most people do not understand what’s coming soon. Something is coming that will dramatically affect our lives. We see the signs of the times. Wars & conflicts are the signs of the times.Miss Grady: A lot of people have turned against Flip. Gangsters have vandalized his radio station. People that he has helped to start their own radio station has turned on him. He has helped a lot of people in this community, and there’s a lot of jealousy going on that he doesn’t deserve. Announcer: Some people may not like DJ Flip, but he has made a difference recognizing others. You’re listening to the Tale of DJ Flip. Today’s episode: The influence of DJ Flip. Sphinx Bazel Asking For Forgiveness 1:15:23 9.00 PM

DJ Flip was worried the whole time Amarah was gone. He would secretly and often ride by her house to see if she was there. There was no sign of her. Flip was still worried about Amarah getting attacked by Terrance Lewis and his gangsters though she lived in a good neighborhood. What Flip feared the most is what happened. Amarah got attacked. Amarah had stopped one morning to the coffee shop to get a breakfast sandwich. On her way out, she was attacked by a gangster sent by Terrance Lewis to kidnap her. He grabbed her from behind but Amarah stomped hard on the foot of the attacker with her heel and gave him an elbow strike to the stomach and ribs. Amarah ran from the gangster and ran into another one. But before he could grab her, out of nowhere appeared Sphinx Bazel, and he punched the gangster in the face. He punched him so hard, the gangster hit the ground. Then the first gangster that attacked Amarah pulled a gun on Bazel. Bazel somehow took the gun from him, and as he was taking the gun, the gun fired and it fell to the ground as the gangster wrestled him. Bazel pushed the gangster into the coffee shop window. Amarah stood stunned. Bazel looked at her and asked, “Are you alright?” Amarah nodded her head. The owner of the coffee shop looked upset. Bazel wrote a check to the owner to pay for the damage to the shop. Amarah got into her car and waited before she drove off. Bazel walked up to her with his long Egyptian beard, neat dreadlocks, and Egyptian headdress and said, “Are you going to be okay going home? I can follow you and make sure that you will get there safe.” Amarah didn’t want Bazel to know where she lived. She wasn’t sure about the Sphinx man she had left behind in Egypt that pointed a missle gun at her. Amarah didn’t trust him though he saved her life. She said to Bazel, “Thank you Bazel. I’ll be fine going home.” Then Bazel thought and he asked, “Where’s that Boyfriend of yours? Are you still with him?“ Amarah didn’t want Bazel to know anything. She didn’t want him to know that her & DJ Flip had been spending time apart. Amarah: You leave my boyfriend alone.”Bazel: I’m not going to bother him, Amarah. I’ve been jealous. I’m sorry about the things I’ve done. I just wish that you had never left me. Amarah: What are you doing here?Bazel: I’m here to see Domino Storm. I’m going to let you be on your way. Amarah looked sad and wanted to open up to Sphinx Bazel. She said: Everyone’s been jealous. Gangsters have been after my boyfriend & now they’re after me.Bazel: Is there something I can do? If you ever need me for anything, call me. I still love you. I’ll do anything for you. Although I’m seeing someone else. Amarah: No, I’ll be okay.Bazel: Please forgive me Amarah, and don’t think you can’t ask me for help. We can still be friends. Amarah: Okay, I can forgive you I guess.Bazel: You know how to reach me if you ever need me.Amarah soon drove off and left Sphinx Bazel standing alone. She forgave Bazel because she felt like she might need him again one day. You’re listening to The Tale of DJ Flip. Today’s episode: Sphinx Bazel Asking For Forgiveness. Song & Story: Family TreeSong & Story by: Gail Nobles © 2022Art by: Gail Nobles © 2022Before Amarah left Roy Carlston’s estate, she was given his obituary. She found out that Roy was a great cousin to her. The lady that owned the estate knew Amarah’s mother. She told Amarah that she could return & visit the estate any time. Amarah was totally shocked about the things she had learned. Now Amarah understood why she could feel a closeness to Roy Carlston. A man that had passed away before she was born. She understood why she could hear him. Amarah began to write and sing a song in her mind. She could hear Roy singing along with her. Verse: You’ll never know who you might find in your family tree. A branch that I never knew wanting me to see. Break: You’ve must of been somewhere buried in the leaves. I never knew that you were gone. So I don’t grieve. Chorus: Family tree (Learning people places) Family tree (Seeing people - faces) You’ve been revealed to me In my family tree.DJ Flip

I’m on a train to visit Roy Carlston’s Estate. Although he was a man that was not alive, I could feel a close bond between us. Maybe because I could feel his music from my soul. Roy Carlston sings: Headed to the mountains. Yes I am headed for the mountains because that’s where Roy use to live. Way out in the mountains, and I needed a break from where I live. When I got there, I was invited to take a look around Carlston’s house. I was led into a gate and down a concrete driveway. You could see the valley below & a river. Carlston’s house was a big old mansion on a hill. The mansion was beautiful. There was hardwood flooring, a stone fireplace, walk-in closets, & plenty of rooms. A few miles from Carlston’s estate was a mausoleum. A burial chamber where Carlston was laid to rest. Inside the mausoleum was his tomb. I didn’t want to hang around too much after visiting it. I could hear Carlston calling me. Roy Carlston: Amarah, what are you doing hear Chile? Stay away from the grave & the darkness. It’s no place for you. Choose life. I know what you come here for. Ain’t nothing to the dark side. It’s just darkness. A big blackout. I answered Mr. Carlston in mind. Amarah: Pardon me Mr. Carlston. How do you know why I came? I came to see you. Carlston: Am I not in the dark and of the dead? Amarah: I don’t know. I can still hear you. That’s something I can’t explain. You came to me first.Carlston: (laughing) Go on back down to the city. You have a loving boyfriend that needs you. Do something for the living. There is no work here for you, Chile. Amarah: I’d rather be in the dark sometimes where there is no one to bother me. What’s dead can’t bother me. Carlston: But you must live, and you must endure. Your time will come, but it is not now. Don’t argue with me. I’ll be with you. Go back down to the city. Amarah: Okay Mr. Carlston. I’ll let you rest. You're listening to the Tale of DJ Flip. But records aren’t getting played there now. BMK: Man, I don’t know what’s going on. I’ve been wonder the same thing. My record this time first got heard on an urban soul AM station. But WDJF -FM is the best that we have and whatever is going on, I hope that the station will come back. Tim: We’ll, we’ve got CUTZ 92BMK: Yea, but the owners are failing & trying to turn people away from WDJF. CUTZ 92 got conspiracy rants. All that talk radio in the morning. I want to hear music. Tim: I heard that WDJF got vandalized by gangsters. BMK: I heard a little something about that.Tim: And I heard that you’ve been working with DJ Flip’s lady in the recording studio. As a matter of fact, she’s on your next single.BMK: Yes, she is. She’s a very talented lady. I enjoy working with her. We’ve got another single we’re working on now. It’s called STEP OFF.Tim: What’s that about?BMK: We’ll, Amarah has enemies & so do I. Everybody has enemies. So that’s what the single is about, and will be out shortly.Tim: You and Amarah are two powerful people.BMK: But there’s a simple way to handle your enemies. First, you have to know your enemies. Learn everything you can about them. Know what their weak points are. Don’t let them get you upset. Play it cool. If you can, walk away. And if you can’t keep your enemies away, learn how to defend yourself. Because some enemies will bully you and force you to fight. Hopefully, you’ll be able to with a fist & not with a gun. Car door & Restaurant sound: Soundbible.comArt by: Gail NoblesAll voices by: Gail NoblesStory by: Gail Nobles © 2022You’re listening to the tale of DJ Flip. Today’s episode: Meeting Mr. Time. When Amarah got into her car to drive off to leave Flip’s house, she noticed an engagement ring on her finger. She also heard some bad news on the radio about DJ Flip’s station. Radio: It has been reported that WDJF has been wrecked & Vandalized.Amarah cut off her car and went to tell Flip. When she went into his house, he was still asleep. She patted him on the face to wake him.Amarah: Jeffrey, wake up!When Flip woke up, Amarah hesitated to tell him about what happened. She wanted to give him time to wake up good. Then she gave him the bad news.Flip said: Oh no! What am I gonna do?Amarah: Do you have any idea who might have done it?Flip said: Terrence Lewis from Cuts 92 probably had something to do with it.Amarah: I was thinking um … maybe we should move to another city together. Flip: If I move, I’ll move to another state. We’re known everywhere. You can’t run from trouble. You have to stay & face it. Amarah could see in DJ Flip’s eyes that he was angry & talking stronger. She quickly forgot about the idea of moving away. She said: Well, if you have insurance, everything will be okay. Amarah helped DJ Flip with his radio situation. She saw that he wasn’t a quitter, and later spoke to him about the engagement ring on her finger. Flip & Amarah talked about their relationship & she let Flip know that she would marry him.One afternoon at lunchtime, Amarah went into her favorite restaurant. She was taking a break from her music. In the restaurant, she saw the Christian Minister Mr. Time. She approached him with some ice cream while he was sitting alone eating a steak. Amarah: Do you mind if I sit down with you a second? I have something I need to ask you.Mr. Time: Sure, have a seat.Amarah: I’ve dreamed about you before I ever heard or saw you, And when I saw you on television speaking yesterday, I heard you say in my mind, It is I you have heard. It is I you have seen in your dream. Don’t be afraid. Was that just my mind or was it you? Mr. Time: Well, it could have been a spirit. It could be you with some kind of ability to encounter an Angel. Amarah: It happened as you spoke on another kingdom coming. Mr. Time: It’s possible then that you heard someone from that kingdom. You know the kingdom I’m talking about don’t you?Amarah: You are talking about the Kingdom of God. Mr. Time: Hmm! Hmm! Do you know the Lord? Amarah: Yes, I know him. Mr. Time: Then it could have been him because you hear the word of God.Amarah: What do you call yourself? I mean what is your name?Mr. Time: People call me Mr. Time. But I am only a man sending out a message that we are living in the last days. Amarah: I believe your message. I can feel hatred from other people towards me and my boyfriend. Mr. Time: Yes, people are getting worse with hate. We are oppressed, but keep on living. Keep on fighting. Keep on praying & don’t give up. Amarah: I have one more question. Why do they call you Mr. Time? Mr. Time: Because I speak on a time that is here, but there are people that do not believe that these are the last days. They think that it is far away and not soon to come. Then there are some who do believe that these are the last days. That is how I got my name. Some think I’m ahead of time. Some think I am with time. So they just call me Mr. Time. All the same when they hear me, they hear what’s been said in the prophecy, and we are living in that time. We are living in the end times. All of Amarah’s questions were answered by Mr. Time. She then knew more about herself. You’re listening to The Tale of DJ Flip. Story by Gail Nobles © 2022.DJ Flip

Applause: https://freesfx.co.ukComputer Art by: Gail NoblesYou’re listening to the tale of DJ Flip. Today’s episode: Mr. Time. The storm had passed over. It was morning and the power outage was over. Everything was back to normal. Amarah woke up in DJ Flip’s arms and saw that his television was back on. She saw a strange man on television. He was a Christian minister who she had seen her dreams. Mr. Time: I am not a politician & I am not a muslim. I am a Christian minister. My message is about another kingdom that’s coming. Politicians think I’m crazy when I say the system is failing. They say I’m crazy when I say the system is nothing to worry about. And some of you out there think I’m crazy too. Look around! You’re job is failing you. Look around! You’re money is not enough. Look around! But prices are still getting higher. We depend on our money, but when the real test comes & we have no money, who do we depend on? We’ve got to fall on our knees & fold the hands in prayer to the one that will supply all our needs. I’m here to tell you today that the system is failing & another kingdom is soon to come.Amarah had never heard anyone speak on a thing that the Christian minister was speaking on. As she got up to leave DJ Flip, she heard a voice.Mr. Time: Amarah! It is I you have heard. It is I you have seen in your dream. Don’t be afraid.Amarah looked towards the kitchen and saw DJ Flip’s art diary do something strange. Empty pages began to Flip. Mr. Time: I am Mr. Time. You have a whole life ahead of you. Keep moving and remember the poor.Amarah looked at DJ Flip. He was still sleeping. She quietly left him, and she knew she had to change. She knew she had a real purpose in life.I’m Gail Nobles and You’re listening to the Tale of DJ Flip. Today’s episode: Mr. Time by Gail Nobles © 2022.DJ Flip

The Art Diary 9:25:22 4.55 PM
Song: We Will Be Together In TimeSong by: Gail Nobles © 2022Story by: Gail Nobles © 2022Art by: Gail NoblesIn the meantime, while Flip was playing Amarah’s next big hit, Elman was down to the radio station Cutz 92 telling disc jockey Terrence Lewis the same story that he told Flip about Amarah shooting him in the leg. The story got more attention on Cutz 92 than it did Flip’s station WDJF. After it was heard on the radio, it was written in the city newspaper. The bad publicity didn’t seem to bother Amarah much. She sometimes sat near a window at her favorite restaurant and thought about moving to another city. Amarah also thought about how much DJ Flip was changing. He began to get into fights with Terrence Lewis. Sometimes he would leave the radio station with cuts and bruises. Terrence and his partner would try to gang Flip but Flip was stronger and bigger than both of them. The envy and the hate began to grow for DJ Flip and Amarah. Late that evening just before the going down of the sun, Amarah went to visit DJ Flip. A sudden storm was also just about to arrive. DJ Flip let Amarah in, but he was not expecting her. He was sitting to his kitchen table working on a new art diary. In the dining room, he sat down to talk with Amarah and had forgotten all about his diary being opened on the kitchen table. After a while, Flip went upstairs to use the bathroom, and Amarah saw that Flip had been studying his Bible. From the dining room, she could see that he had been writing in the kitchen. She wasn’t familiar with his home. Amarah thought that Flip had a very nice home. She walked to the doorway of the kitchen, and her eyes fell on a picture in Flip’s art diary that he drew of her. It nearly frightened her. It reminded Amarah of a dream she had of herself and Flip. Suddenly the lights went out because of a terrible storm. Flip had came down the stairs. Flip: Amarah! Where are you? Amarah: I’m right here, Flip.Flip and Amarah both found there way to the dining room coach. Flip: I don’t like the dark. I’m out of oil for the candle light. I wasn’t prepared for this.Amarah: Are you scared, Flip? Flip: No, are you?Amarah: No. I heard that radio story that Elman told you about how I shot him in the leg.Flip: I should have never put that man on the air. I didn’t know you met Miss Grady. You’re pretty good with a gun. Amarah: That doesn’t frighten you about me does it Flip?Flip: No, I’m glad you know how to protect yourself. What scares me is you’re smart. Smart enough to leave a guy. I don’t know why you like me. I’ve seen you with guys better than me. I’m just an old DJ spinning records. I’ve seen you with guys with high paying jobs, with fancy cars & boats & yatchs.Amarah: You said right Flip. They have jobs, but you know how to work for yourself, and you got your own business going, helping recording artist, and helping me. You’re just as good as any man. As far as those material things they got, that’s not what I’m looking for. Those things don’t impress me. Why come you like me? Flip: I always fall for the things you say. I always think you’re pretty. When I was a boy, I had a crush on you. Now I’m a man, and … it’s ….it’s more than that now. I don’t like it when men try to degrade you & ruin your reputation. I’ll fight for you.Amarah: Is that why I’ve been seeing all those cuts & bruises on you. You’ve been telling me it’s nothing.Flip: It’s nothing.Amarah: That’s okay. Don’t tell me. You don’t have to tell me. And I know who you have been fighting. I want get involved. I’ll let you handle it. I didn’t mean to see it, but I saw the picture you’ve been drawing of me. You never told me you could draw. That picture almost scared me.Flip: Why did it almost scare you?Amarah: It looks similar to a dream I had. I told you that you have a gift.Flip: Sometimes I feel there is a deep connection between us. I never knew that you were writing that song that I played today. And that picture I drew, I started it a long time ago and just now trying to finish it. I know you’re the one for me. It’s a sign.Amarah: What made you decide to start studying you’re Bible? Flip: It’s where I go when I need answers. Amarah: I admire that Flip. It’s the right place to go. Flip: Like all men, I have a sinful nature. You don’t know all of my thoughts & feelings about you. My body is unsaved, but my heart is saved, and Ilove you Amarah. Amarah: I know how you feel. I love you too, but let’s continue to take our time. Amarah & DJ Flip talked on through the storm & fell asleep in the dark in each other’s arms. You’re listening to the Tale of DJ Flip. Today’s episode: The Art Diary by Gail Nobles © 2022.DJ Flip

I ain’t going to jail for nobody. They always asking me what I’ve been up to. I might as well take the law into my own hands. And Amarah, if you’re listening, you better watch you’re back! Flip: Hold up now! Wait a minute Elman! You threatening my girl! Don’t be threatening my girl! You better not go nowhere near Amarah! Elman: Oh, What you gonna do about it? Give me a ticket? I ought to be the police around here, and give you a ticket for letting your girlfriend carry that gun. Flip: if you touch Amarah, I’ll go to jail! Case closed! Elman: Ain’t that a blip! I ain’t even touched her yet, and you already crazy. Well, if you got to go to jail, you got to go. Flip: Man, get your criminal cripple behind out my station! Elman: Okay! But I better not see Egyptian lady again! …..DJ Flip

DJ Flip To DJ Love 8:26:22 4.33 PM
Story: DJ Flip To DJ LoveStory by: Gail Nobles © 2022Voices by: Gail NoblesComputer Art by: Gail NoblesMusic by: Samplefocus.comNever Missed: https://samplefocus.com/samples/never-missedOoooh you gonna love: https://samplefocus.com/samples/ooooh-you-gonna-loveUsage: Standard Licence - Royalty FreeThis is DJ Flip on the airwaves. I want you to know I’m back and very much alive. I thank everybody for their concerns. I want to thank all of my friends for saving me and bringing me home. I thank God for each and everyone of you. Amarah heard Flip on the radio driving from the grocery store. She could tell that Flip wasn’t the same and neither was she. Amarah, Flip, Domino, and Shelly were now known everywhere by everyone but was respected. Amarah stopped by the radio station to see Flip. She brought him lunch on his lunch break. Amarah: So how are you, Flip?Flip: I still don’t feel so good, but a little better than yesterday. Amarah: Good! Keep eating. I know you like salad. So I bought you salad.DJ Flip was scared. He said: I thought I was going to lose you. Now I know why you didn’t want to go to Egypt. I thought Bazel was going to kill you!Amarah: I was worried that he would kill you too and Domino in the ring. That’s why I showed up. I knew you’d be in trouble.DJ Flip: Promise me you’ll never go back to Egypt. Never do a concert there. Please don’t back there. There is nothing good there for you. DJ Flip feared what Bazel thought about doing to Amarah. His eyes were watery and read.Amarah held Flip’s hand. Amarah: Don’t worry Flip. I won’t go back. You won’t lose me.DJ Flip: I lost you before when we were friends in high school. It was the worst feeling. You were my best friend. I needed you.Amarah thought: Maybe that’s part of the problem. He lost me before. All those years I hid away from those bad guys.Amarah began to understand DJ Flip more and more. Most of the time while he was talking, she learned to stay silent. Amarah thought long and hard. Two men had been hurting over her. Since DJ Flip was starting to be open with her, she thought she would be a little more open with him. She asked him: You love me, don’t you Flip? DJ Flip just tried to hide his tears. Amarah knew he was sometimes shy about certain things she’d ask him. He had never been in a relationship before. That’s some of what made her love him all over the other guys. She knew he was lonely. None of the other guys shedded tears & had a heart for her the way Flip did. Amarah knew from Flip’s diary that there had been other things that went on in his life that she wasn’t around to see. But he didn’t know as much about her. Amarah said: You know, I ain’t no Angel Flip. You know what, let’s talk later. Your break will soon be over. Eat! When Amarah & DJ Flip we’re through eating, it was time for Flip to go back to work and Amarah had to leave. But Amarah didn’t go to where she was supposed to go. She went home with a lot on her mind. Amarah knew that she had hurt Flip by leaving him from the beginning. She didn’t want to hurt him again. She could see how bad Bazel was hurting. Amarah had an affect on both men, but Domino Storm was strong, and went on to date Shelly, Amarah’s friend.Amarah thought a bought the affair she once had with Bazel a few years after her career traveling on the road. DJ Flip had questioned Amarah and wanted to know if she still had feelings for him. But Amarah would always avoid the question & didn’t want to talk about Bazel. She wanted to share her feelings that she had for him. Amarah felt sure that she wouldn’t go back to Bazel. After the visit to Egypt,Amarah felt exhausted thinking about two men including Domino Storm. About a week later, DJ Flip went to visit Amarah one evening. Somehow Amarah knew he would come. She could always feel things about him. Amarah opened the door for him to let him in. She said: I’m upstairs watching television. C’mon.Flip hesitated and said: I don’t know Amarah .I won’t stay. I just stop by to thank you for being my best friend.Amarah took a step down from the stairs and leaned on the handrail. Amarah: You’re welcome,Flip, and thank you for being my best friend. Why don’t you come up with me?Flip said looking around: Well, I don’t know.Amarah went down the stairs and took Flip by the hand, and they went upstairs to her room. She shut the door behind her. DJ Flip swallowed hard and asked: Don’t you want to leave the door open?Amarah: Na, the heat is on. I want to keep it in. Maybe later.Amarah had a chair in her room. She asked Flip to sit down as she sat on the bed. Amarah: So why aren’t you at the radio station? You usually get off at night.Flip: I just wanted to call it quits early today.Amarah sort of acted as if she wasn’t really interested in Flip. She began to Flip the TV channels on the remote control.Flip was very nervous because he wanted to tell Amarah something. Flip: I really just wanted to see you today because….Flip hung his head. He couldn’t finish his sentence because Amarah was starring at him looking in the mirror near her television. Without his beard, she thought he was the most handsome man alive. Amarah turned off her television set. She gave Flip her full attention.Amarah: Say what you need to say Flip.Flip: Do you remember in fifth grade when you asked me to kiss you, and I never got the chance because the teacher walked behind the building and caught us?Amarah: Yea, I remember that Flip. You remember that? Flip: Yes, I never forgot about that. When DJ Flip was about to say more, his phone began to ring, and it was Miss Grady. When he was finished talking with Miss Grady he said: Well, I got to go. Miss Grady needs my help.Amarah didn’t move and said: Alright Flip. Well come back to see me soon. When Flip passed Amarah to go towards the door, Amarah had a sly look on her face. DJ Flip tried to open the door and the door wouldn’t open. Amarah knew who DJ Flip was and how he was. She knew his feelings were getting stronger for her, and she figured he wanted to kiss her. DJ Flip was nervous of Amarah. His hands began to sweat trying to open the door. Amarah had an electronic Digital Door lock. Finally she got up to let Flip out of the room. Amarah: I’m sorry Flip. I forgot that I had the locks changed on the doors.Flip: Would it be okay to come back tomorrow? Amarah: Yea, it will be okay but you got to kiss me before in let you in.Flip stopped in the door way and turned around and looked into Amarah’s eyes. He said: You’re teasing.Amarah: Flip, I wasn’t teasing in fifth grade. Amarah knew Flip was worried. She had read part of his diary and found out that he had never kissed a girl. She lowered her voice and said: I’m not teasing you now Flip. I want to kiss you.DJ Flip slowly gave Amarah a warm and long kiss. His kiss told Amarah everything, and her kiss told him everything. He had planned to kill Amarah, but then he lowered his gun. Amarah was startled, and she sat froze. She couldn’t move. Bazel still had feelings for Amarah and changed his mind about shooting the missle. Amarah sat starring at him. Her friend Shelly and Domino Storm who sat behind her & Flip beside her saw Bazel. They were startled too.Domino said, “That man is crazy!”Soon Amarah & her friends were up in the air, flying back to the United States. News reporters were waiting for both Amarah & Domino Storm. They had heard that Sphinx Bazel was angry that he lost the fight to Domino, and tried to kill Domino & Amarah. They heard that all of Bazel’s men disappeared and were not found. They never got out of the 3rd pyramid. They had also heard a rumor that they were after Domino Storm & Amarah & that DJ Flip had died.(Crowd)Domino: Yes, I am now the heavyweight champion of the world by the Grace of God.Domino Storm was first to get off of the plane & answered most of the news reporter questions. When they asked if all the rumors were true about him, Amarah, and Flip, Domino Storm told him nothing. He said: I would like to thank Sphinx Bazel for giving me another shot at the title. Thank you very much. Then the news reporters wanted to know who Amarah’s best friend Shelly was.Domino said: We’re all just good friends.Amarah, DJ Flip, Shelly, and Domino went their separate ways. They were all tired. DJ flip still felt kind of sick from being locked away in the pyramid. Amarah’s friend Shelly told him what to do. She was a nurse. DJ Flip went home quickly to rest.Amarah went home with things on her mind. She thought about the mysterious man in Egypt that rode beside her on the way to the pyramids. She kept thinking about the third pyramid and wondered what happened to all the men she shot with the darts. Was it the third pyramid? Amarah thought about the strange gash that looked like a caved in spot on the pyramid. It reminded her of a large keyhole. Did they rescue Flip from the King’s chamber or the roof chamber? Amarah was very uncertain where she and her friends found Flip. She felt that the mysterious man was an angel, and the pyramid was a mystery. Amarah wondered if the men that were not found was just lost in the pyramid. You’re listening to the Tale of DJ Flip. Today’s episode: The Flight Home by Gail Nobles © 2022DJ Flip

It was windy that day in the land of Egypt. There was a strange man riding beside Amarah on a horse as she rode on a camel. And he said to her: I know that you seek a man.Amarah knew that the man was not of Egypt land. He was a mysterious man. She could tell by the sound of his voice. She asked: How do you know I seek that man?Stranger: You will find him in the third pyramid. Take your weapon with you. Use the darts. You’ll have one hour to free that man. The wind began to die down. Suddenly, the mysterious man on a horse was no longer beside Amarah. She and her friends finally made it to the pyramids. Amarah went to the third pyramid with her friend Shelly & DJ Flip. The Pyramid was like a cave going into the entrance. They had to go through a tunnel. Amarah and her friends went straight to the top to reach the King’s Chamber. DJ Flip was chained in there to the wall. He had fainted because he was hot & thirsty. Domino Storm cut into the chains with some bolt cutters and got flip down from the wall. Suddenly a group of men had Amarah & her friends surrounded. Amarah had her walking cane transformed into a dart gun. She shot everyone of them. The darts put each man to sleep for thirty minutes. Amarah remembered the stranger said that she had only one hour to free DJ Flip. She and her friends quickly began to move. Domino Storm carried Flip across his shoulder. When they got outside, a driver and a Jeep was waiting for Amarah & her friends to help them escape.Sphinx Bazel was there. He stood starring knowing that his men had failed him.
