A Sports Illustrated Model's Fight Against Unreasonable Beauty Standards w/ Kim Alexis

Alison Furno and Debi Vandenboom are joined by special guest Kim Alexis. Kim was part of the launch of the original supermodel era in America. Beginning in the late 70s, she was featured 500 times in magazines like Sports Illustrated, Vogue, and Glamour, walked the runway with high-profile designers, and did TV commercials for brands like Suave and Revlon. Debi and Alison talk to Kim about her career and the pressures to conform to unreasonable beauty standards within the modeling industry.
