On March 3, 2019, Davis Gardner passed away. Davis was Dale Avers' mentor and good friend. She was a big advocate for geriatrics in medical education and influenced THOUSANDS of people. I got the opportunity to sit down with Davis and my favorite professor, Anne Harrison, back in 2017. We opened up a lovely bottle of red and had ourselves a great time.
