As you travel especially to countries of a different culture from the West, experiences will inevitably be unique. At the same time, the personal experience differentiates so much the image we have probably acquired from the media. What can we be taught by people of such a different but less comfortable world? How interesting is it when you can honestly connect with them? Personally, every time I visit such a special country I leave with full gratitude and the little story I am describing is one of the reasons.
