Truly one of the most underrated bands of the 1980's was White Lion. Great songs, killer guitar player, charismatic, hot singer, talented rhythm section and the "Pride" (no pun intended) of MTV. Then they were gone.....I caught up with their founder Mike Tramp for a candid conversation over 30 years since our last chat (when we both were wearing leather and had GIANT hair!) about forming the band, his relationship with Vito Bratta, why the East Coast means so much to him, and more. What happened? Was there gas still left in the tank? Did their record company support them?
