परंपरा और आधुनिकता प्रत्येक समाज की पहचान है। समय के साथ हर किरदार में परिवर्तन हो रहा है। वर्तमान समय में ऐसा प्रतीत हो रहा है जैसे सदियों की परम्पराओं को छोड़कर भारतीय नारी, पुरुष से समानता के लिए तथाकथित देवी स्वरूप को छोड़कर सामान्य नारी ही बने रहना चाहती है। आधुनिक नारी यही चाहती है कि पति और पत्नी दोनों को समान अधिकार प्राप्त हो। आइये इसी समानता की आकांक्षा को सुनते है हमारी कविता "आधुनिक नारी" से।
