(00:41) Noodhulp-dilemma’s na de aardbeving in Afghanistan Het is een ramp waarvan we de omvang nog niet kennen, zo vertellen ooggetuigen na de aardbeving die west-Afghanistan afgelopen zaterdag trof. Inmiddels is het dodental de tweeduizend gepasseerd, en gevreesd wordt dat dat nog verder op zal lopen. Ook omdat het uiterst moeilijk blijkt om noodhulp te leveren. Want hoe lever je humanitaire hulp aan een land dat onder internationale sancties valt? We bespreken het met Afghaans-Nederlandse arts en voorzitter van de diasporavereniging Keihan, Niloufar Rahim. (09:01) Ook in Beieren blijkt de AFD uiterst populair Bij de regionale verkiezingen in de Duitse deelstaten Hessen en Beieren behaalde de rechts-radicale AfD de grootste overwinning ooit in een voormalig West-Duitse deelstaat. Hoe kan het dat de partij nu ook buiten de vertrouwde machtsbasis in het oosten van het land steeds populairder wordt? Te gast is Marja Verburg van het Duitsland Instituut.
