Aaron Pope Live from Breakfast of Champions 2010

After a one-year hiatus, I was really stoked to be back in the BOC lineup this year. In the past when I've played this party, what I remember most is a sea of friendly faces on the floor, and meeting lots of people who really appreciate good music. This year was no different: a great party with an unbeatable vibe. I had a later set this year, so I played the "stay sober" game the whole day by dancing my ass off and hanging with friends. There was incredible music everywhere - props to ALL the DJs. When I went on at 5pm it was really flattering to see how many friends had stayed for my set, and I was really fired-up to drop some a high-energy music. This recording is a mix of house, electro and breaks, with some original songs from my partner Chad and I, and another original called Rat Tat Tat Tat that I think works pretty well on the dance floor.
