En esta conferencia, la ufóloga Magdalena del Amo aborda el siempre interesante y complejo asunto de las abducciones. "Para mí, las abducciones constituyen la parte más importante y profunda del fenómeno OVNI", asegura. Se refiere a la abducción del matrimonio Hill. Se empleó la hipnosis para rescatar recuerdos que quedan en el inconsciente. En 1989, la abducciones alcanzan el punto culminante a raíz de la publicación de los libros 'Communion' de Whitley Strieber e 'Intrusos' de Budd Hopkins, que popularizan los pequeños seres grises macrocéfalos y las 'visitas de dormitorio'. Los abducidos suelen experimentar cambios a nivel intelectual, psicológico y espiritual. También suelen sufrir efectos fisiológicos: dolores de cabeza, marcas, quemaduras, cicatrices, hemorragias nasales, diarreas, vómitos, etc. Considera que hay que tener en cuenta otras hipótesis, no solo la extraterrestre, como, por ejemplo, la hipótesis de los recuerdos perinatales o la idea de que las abducciones pueden estar orquestadas por los servicios de inteligencia para encubrir experimentos de alta tecnología. Asimismo, habla de los paralelismos existentes entre las abducciones y las ECMs, aludiendo a los trabajos del investigador Kenneth Ring. Los raptores, afirma, tienen una gran interés en lo sexual.
