But biblical abundance is never about personal comfort or prosperity; it is about greater responsibility, deeper dependence on God, and making room for others like Peter in Luke 5:1-11. But like James and John, God is calling some of us to join others as God pours out abundance on them, rather than sitting on the shores of apathy, bitterness, or sulking in insecurity. God isn’t simply looking for people who are familiar with His Word—He’s looking for people who will do His Word, developing not just the outward systems but the inward character to sustain God’s abundance in this season of acceleration.
