I'll wait until an official deal is made to give my full thoughts, but if AEW gets the same five-year deal with a streaming deal on Max, but no monetary increase or decrease, that is a blessing. WBD has every right to decrease their offer, knowing AEW isn't as hot or as valuable as it was three years ago, let alone five years. I do hope they get some kind of increase though. Even if it isn't the increase they want, Tony should take it. Bite the bullet. Take the positives with the negatives. Understand why you got that deal. Make the necessary changes and just produce better television to get your numbers up." And he's right. Tony has no one but himself to blame for not getting what he wants.
