ACCUSED KILLER HUSBAND BRIAN WALSHE 'SHANKED' BEHIND BARS

from Crime Stories with Nancy Grace · host iHeartPodcasts and CrimeOnline

Cohasset man Brian Walshe has been indicted for the murder of his wife, Ana Walshe, who vanished in January 2023, after a New Year's Eve party. Prosecutors say the 48-year-old husband dismembered Ana Walshe and discarded her body in multiple trash cans in the area. Police have recovered blood-stained items from the home, including a hacksaw. Walshe has pleaded 'not guilty' to first-degree murder. As he awaits his trial at the Norfolk County jail in Dedham, we learn Walshe was stabbed behind bars. He was taken to a Boston hospital to be treated for his injuries and released later that night. According to the Norfolk County Sheriff's office, he was assaulted with a "makeshift blunt instrument."  The attack was recorded on jailhouse video. Walshe's next competency hearing is set for November 14. Jury selection is set to begin November 18.   Joining Nancy Grace Today: David Studdard - Spalding County, Ga.
