DELPHI KILLER RICHARD ALLEN CONVICTED OF GRUESOME DEATH OF TEENS LIBBY AND ABBY DEMANDS REVERSAL
Richard Allen, convicted in the 2017 murders of Abigail Williams and Liberty German in Delphi, Indiana, has filed an appeal to overturn his conviction. Oral arguments will be heard September 21, 2026. The jury took two minutes from entering the courtroom to announce the verdict: Richard Allen, guilty on all charges. Allen was convicted of felony murder for Abby Williams and Libby German, as well as for knowingly and intentionally killing both girls. Judge Gull maintained order in the courtroom, where there were no outbursts, but outside on the streets of Delphi, shouts of "Guilty on all charges" echoed. The jury, composed of seven women and five men, heard 17 days of testimony, including dozens of witnesses, disturbing jailhouse videos of Richard Allen, and photos of Abby and Libby as they were found at the crime scene. They deliberated for 19 hours over parts of four days to reach a unanimous verdict. Richard Allen was found guilty of four counts: two counts of felony murder and two counts of knowingly and intentionally killing Abby Williams and Libby German. Delphi residents tell reporters that they are still in shock after learning that local pharmacy tech Richard Allen has been charged in the 2017 murder of teens Liberty German and Abigail Williams. Photos of Allen in a local bar with the police sketch of the murder suspect posted on the wall behind him have surfaced. We have also learned that while at work, Allen developed photos of the girls, to be used at their funeral, for the families at no charge. Police say Allen came forward as a witness in the early days of the investigation, but nothing at that time linked him to the crime. Joining Nancy Grace Today: David Yoder - Richard Allen's former neighbor Fran Longwell - Former Deputy State’s Attorney (Calvert County, MD), Former Assistant State’s Attorney (Prince George’s County, MD) specializing in child abuse, sex offenses and homicides Caryn Stark - NYC Psychologist; Twitter: @carynpsych, Facebook: "Caryn Stark" Sheryl McCollum - Forensic Expert, Founder: Cold Case Investigative Research Institute in Atlanta, GA.; @ColdCaseTips Dr. Todd M. Rex Heuerman Finds Out His Fate
Just weeks after a judge said says Rex Heuerman "will go to trial come hell or high water," the accused serial killer pleads guilty to all seven murders for which he's charged, and an additional murder. We learned details of what police found on Heuermann's phones. Yes, multiple phones. These "untraceable" phones, along with his personal phone, traced to a "tight cluster" of cell towers near his Massapequa Park home, linking him to the victims and taunting calls made to family members. Police arrested the prominent New York architect in connection with murders of Melissa Barthelemy, Megan Waterman, and Amber Costello, Sandra Costilla, Valerie Mack, Jessica Taylor, and Maureen Brainard-Barnes. The 8th victim, 34-year-old Karen Vergata, was last heard from on Valentine's Day 1996. Her legs and feet were found the same year on Fire Island. Her skull was found fifteen years later near Tobay Beach in Nassau County. The women's remains were found along Gilgo Beach in Long Island within 500 feet of each other. KAMELO ANTHONY SOBS: GUILTY IN STAB DEATH OF AUSTIN METCALF, 17, @ HS TRACK MEET
During a track meet between Memorial High School and Centennial High School in Frisco, Texas, light rain begins to fall, and athletes take cover under tents with their respective teams at Kuykendall Stadium. Memorial High School athlete Austin Metcalf finds Centennial High School athlete Karmelo Anthony under the Memorial High School tent and tells him he needs to move from under his team's tent. When Anthony refuses, words are exchanged, and Anthony tells Metcalf, "Touch me and see what happens." Centennial High School's Karmelo Anthony allegedly reaches inside his bag, grabs a knife, stabs Austin Metcalf in the chest, and runs away. As Metcalf's twin brother, Hunter, comes to his brother's aid, witnesses point out Anthony to a nearby middle school resource officer, who chases the suspect down. The school resource officer confronts Karmelo Anthony, telling him to put his hands up in the air. Anthony tells the officer, "I was protecting myself," claiming Metcalf "put his hands on" him. Anthony hears the officer say he has the "alleged stabbing suspect" in custody, and Anthony replies, "I'm not alleged. I did it." Anthony claims self-defense. Now a jury has found Anthony guilty and he has been sentenced to 35 years. Father Jeff Metcalfe joins Nancy Grace. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

LYNETTE HOOKER SHOCK GPS, HUBBY ‘IN THE WATER” WHEN WIFE VANISHES
GPS evidence now contradicts Brian Hooker's account in the disappearance of his wife, Lynette Hooker, in the Bahamas. Hooker told authorities that Lynette fell from their 8-foot dinghy into the water during bad weather on the evening of April 4 and was swept away. He claims Lynette had the electronic motor keys with her leaving him stranded in the dinghy. He says he had to paddle for hours to reach shore. Investigators reviewed electronic tracking data from Brian Hooker's devices, finding significant discrepancies. GPS data shows the dinghy moving across the water, stopping in the Sea of Abaco, and then returning. Hooker’s account lead investigators to search “in the wrong area” for Lynette. MISS USA HOPEFUL KADA SCOTT MURDERED, SUSPECT ORDERED HELD FOR TRIAL
Keon King, the suspect accused of the October kidnapping and murder Kada Scott, will stand trial. He has pleaded not guilty to murder, kidnapping, and abuse of a corpse. A pre-trial hearing has been scheduled for June 24. Kada Scott's remains were found in a wooded area behind an abandoned school in East Germantown. She was last seen shortly after arriving for a shift at an assisted living facility in Chestnut Hill. Police began searching the area, near the vacant Ada H. Lewis Middle School for Scott after receiving a "very specific" anonymous tip. Police previously searched the area of the school and arboretum in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia but reported only finding some physical evidence, without commenting on what evidence was uncovered. Community members voice anger and frustration at police while gathering behind the crime scene tape during the search on Saturday, saying they could have found the body sooner. Keon King had a criminal record prior to his alleged involvement in Scott’s kidnapping. Investigators say King kidnapped and assaulted another victim earlier in the year. SON DISAPPEARS INTO IDAHO WILDERNESS DURING TV SHOOT, REMAINS MISSING YEARS LATER
Nancy Grace investigates the baffling disappearance of Terrence Woods Jr., a talented young television producer with a double master's degree who vanished while filming near an abandoned mine in the remote Idaho wilderness. According to the crew on set, Terrence suddenly bolted down a steep hill at full speed and vanished without a trace—a narrative many doubt. As the investigation unfolds, a mountain of unsettling red flags emerges: a local sheriff's department treating the case as a simple runaway, international crew members quickly fleeing back to London, conflicting eyewitness accounts, and highly suspicious physical evidence. From missing pants and muddy shoes packaged in plastic bags to tampered camera photos and pages ripped directly out of Terrence's diary, Nancy and her expert panel dissect the jaw-dropping revelations uncovered by Terrence’s father. Train-Stab Victim Iryna Zarutska's Alleged Killer Deemed Incompetent For Trial
Iryna Zarutska, a Ukrainian refugee, came to the United States with her family to escape her war-torn country for a better life. Iryna took English classes, had a job and was making a productive life for herself, but all her aspirations were cut short by an unprovoked violent attack from a man with a criminal history. Video shows Iryna getting on the train in Charlotte North Carolina, taking a seat and looking at her phone quietly. Video shows a passenger sitting directly behind Iryna, who we later came to know as Carlos Brown Jr. A close-up of Brown's hands can be seen opening and unfolding the knife in order to prepare to stand up to stab Iryna. Although Iryna's hat covers a lot of her face, the shock in her eyes, along with the terror she silently expressed during her final moments of life, bleeding out, surrounded by panic is heartbreaking to watch. Video also shows Brown, in an orange hoodie, walking the aisles of the train with blood dripping on the floor. One passenger notices blood drops and avoids stepping in it, while another witness on the phone with 911 tells them a man just stabbed a woman for no reason and she needs help. Moments after allegedly stabbing Iryna, Brown is captured on video non-chalantly walking the platform of the train station. On the train, Brown was wearing a hoodie, now he is wearing a black t-shirt, with the now bloody hoody, wrapped around his hands. A Grand jury indicted Brown, formally charging him with first-degree murder. Now medical experts have determined that he is incompetent to stand trial. INSIDE TIGER WOODS' LUX SWISS REHAB
Tiger Woods arrested after rolling his vehicle during a two-car crash. According to police, Woods was attempting to pass a truck in front of him on a two-lane road in Jupiter Island, Florida, but Wood’s Range Rover clipped the back of the truck. No other vehicles were involved. Wood was able to crawl out of the passenger side window. Officers on the scene administered a breathalyzer test, with Woods blowing zero, negative for alcohol. Officers still suspected Woods was impaired, saying the golf legend appeared “lethargic.” He then refused a urine test. Woods was then taken into custody. Woods entered a written plea of 'not-guilty' to a DUI charge and was granted permission by Judge Darren Steele, to travel to Switzerland for rehab. Woods spent 40 days at the facility in intensive physical and psychological care before returning to the USA when girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, announced was undergoing treatment for breast cancer. NANCY GUTHRIE MISSING 4 MONTHS, SEARCH AT CHILLING TURNING POINT
Four months after the heartbreaking kidnapping of fragile, 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, Nancy Grace breaks down the latest dramatic developments and critical turning points in the ongoing investigation. Nancy and her panel of experts explore the intense friction between local law enforcement and the FBI, exposing how federal assets and world-class forensic labs were allegedly sidelined during the most crucial early days of the disappearance. Meanwhile Nancy's daughter, Savannah Guthrie launches her own $500,000 private investigation, possibly fueled by reservations about the Pima County Sheriffs handling of the case. The panel analyzes why a sudden lack of follow-up on early ransom notes has led experts to believe the abduction was a personal act of revenge rather than a scheme for money, and reviews how vehicle black boxes, Uber data, and Ring camera caches are being leveraged to track down the perpetrators; new tips claiming the trail leads directly into Sonora, Mexico. Anyone with information on Nancy Guthrie's whereabouts is urged to call the FBI at 1-800-225-5324. There is a $1.2-million reward to help bring Nancy Guthrie home. "DUCHESS" SARAH FERGUGSON SPOTTED LEAVING LUX SKI REPORT AFTER EPSTEIN
Prince Andrew is still facing mounting pressure from the U.S. House Oversight Committee to testify regarding his connections to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Members of the House Oversight Committee sent a letter to Prince Andrew requesting an interview as part of a broader congressional investigation into Epstein’s network. Andrew’s representatives have not responded to or complied. A few months after Epstein walked free, Prince Andrew corresponds with the convicted sex offender, promising to make plans for a trip to New York, as “it would be good to catch up in person.” Andrew claims his December trip to Epstein’s New York mansion was planned solely to break the news he must cut contact with the financier. However, in a January email to Epstein, Andrew writes, “Keep in close touch, and we’ll play some more soon!!!!” The Met Police investigate claims Prince Andrew tried to involve his tax-funded Met Protection Officer and Queen Elizabeth’s deputy press secretary in a smear campaign against Virginia Giuffre. Metropolitan Police are told to re-investigate Virginia Giuffre’s sex abuse allegations against Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor following removal of his royal titles. But Scotland Yard claims they will not pursue a criminal investigation after Giuffre's initial allegations or her civil case. Prince Andrew may face more than just eviction! Republic, a pressure group that pushes to see the monarchy abolished, instructed lawyers to begin an investigation into the prince. Anonymous plaintiffs file lawsuits against Bank of America and Bank of New York Mellon, claiming the institutions illicitly enabled Epstein’s trafficking activities. Both banks are accused of ignoring the illegal activity, with Bank of America turning a blind eye to Epstein’s use of a victim’s account to pay her and other victims off, and Mellon failed to flag nearly $378 million in victim payments as suspicious.
