In a desperate attempt to gather intel, Lythander takes flight to Prasad's garrison at Madara, to sabotage what he can and try to uncover their enemies' secrets. But can he do so in time to make sure the Ashen Ones and the Maw of Cecelyne survive the Hunt? Lythander encounters the one person in Creation who can counter his comedy shenanigans, and to survive her sinister magic he must make some difficult choices! Gavel gets on the phone with the Yozi's foremost expert in infrastructure to prepare for severe inclement weather! Aura concocts a bold plan to turn the elements against the element powered demigods: a plan so novel it might even work! Red Hand Rebirth finally shows up (sort of) and has a very one sided family reunion with dear old dad! The Wyld Hunt's general reveals the many skeletons in his closet totally unprompted!
