In the windup before the Ruvelia Memorial Football Cup's opening games, the Circle learns the peculiarities of Malfean sports law. And of the ball itself. And their competitors. Look, no one expected a soccer game in Hell to be normal, now did they? In any case, the backroom strategies for both the games themselves and the world-shaking magical plots everyone is secretly working on start to mingle together, and it's up to our heroes to start unravelling all this before something critical in Creation's infrastructure breaks too badly. Gavel has to deal with the football having a mind and will of its own, alongside another Third Circle Demon's dubious offer of help to further her own ends! Aura has to call an old enemy (now in a new form of existence) to help even the odds against the information and martial deficits the Circle is at! Lythander works tenuously alongside Raksi to scope out Orabilis's library, and has to scramble to stop Sky Sundering Shadow from doing something incredibly ill advised! And beyond all this, Hellcon comes ever closer! This is an Actual Play of Exalted Essence, the classic high-fantasy high-powered TTRPG, using the new Essence ruleset!
