Our Circle faces off against the rival Circle of Adrian Wheel-Turner, the Ouroborous, and Hundred Venoms Stinger...in a football match! With the Ashen Ones squaring off against a Solar conjured clone army, and numerous counters to our heroes' most fearsome magics in play, it won't be an easy victory. Both in scoring the most goals, and also stopping whatever their real plan is that they're covering for with sports as an excuse. Lythander and Raksi case the joint to prepare for their heist on Orabilis's library. In doing so, they find wonders unknown to Creation, and encounter a horrifying magic that shaped the very skies of Hell itself. Aura has her first brush with the Great Curse and has to struggle with the moral implications of fighting someone with a tragic backstory they may have unwittingly caused. Gavel faces off with Adrian, a master of martial arts that rip open creatures of darkness like herself, and also has an excuse of his hatred of the Yozi on her right this second. Spider...actually has a moral backbone for once!
