Kiersten Kanaster has a Master’s degree in Voice Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College, and was an elementary school music teacher, singing teacher and musical theater performer before a brain injury survivor walked into her studio and changed everything. Adapting singing lessons to meet that survivors’ needs lead her to create a low cost program where brain injury survivors can talk with one another and engage with music together in live online classes without the need for transportation.
