Prior to joining Film Movement in 2003, Adley practiced law at the firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions. Film Movement is a full-service North American distributor of independent and foreign films. They have released films from 25 countries, including top prize winners from Sundance, Cannes, Venice, Toronto, Berlin, Tribeca and many other prestigious film festivals.  As part of its distribution approach, Film Movement partners with theaters, TV networks, wholesalers, retailers, and institutions.   They have also developed a unique subscription service called the Film of The Month Club.
