The difference between the people who are around you and the people who are truly there for you.We all go through ups and downs. Some seasons feel light and energized. Others feel like a pile of stress dropped right on top of us. In those heavier seasons, what we really want is not advice, not a solution, not a lecture. We want someone to rally around us. We want someone to simply be there. You will hear a lot online about how the real ones show up when you are struggling. That is true. But I believe something deeper. I believe we all have the capacity to be that person. The challenge is not whether we care. The challenge is whether we have created enough internal space to actually show up.When you are overwhelmed, reacting all day long, and filled to the brim with your own stress, it becomes difficult to notice who around you needs support. This is why I talk so much about operating from a calm headspace and moving at a deliberate pace. When your thoughts slow down, when you are more grounded, you become more aware. And awareness makes connection possible. We live in a fast moving world full of constant access and distraction. Genuine connection can get lost in the noise. Not everyone will have the same level of access to you in every season of your life. That is normal. Some people are close for a chapter. Some stay longer. The key is recognizing who you can truly be there for and who can truly be there for you. This applies far beyond fitness. But it also applies directly to it. When you are connected to yourself from the inside/out, you approach your health, your relationships, and your responsibilities differently. You move from intention instead of reaction. If this episode resonates with you, subscribe, rate, and review the show. Share it with someone who comes to mind. And as always, email me your thoughts at [email protected]. I always want to hear from you.
