ADVENT - FOR US - EVERLASTING FATHER

For Us, our Advent series continues with Everlasting Father this week.! Our text is from Isaiah 9:1-7, and each week we learn more about the characteristics of Jesus from the different names prophesied about Him hundreds of years prior to His birth. We learn about the origin of the words Father and Everlasting in the Hebrew, and that together they mean “possessor of” and “without end.”  He is our eternal protector.  As we have been discussing darkness each week, this week’s question is simply, “Are you afraid of the dark?” Maybe it is the literal dark or the potential darkness that could be around the corner.  He is our protective Father, even if your earthly Father has fallen short in that area. We hope this season of Advent and, more specifically these messages will give you Hope and invite you to draw closer to Jesus, who LOVES YOU! If you are in need of prayer, would you let us know?
