Advisory Council on Historic Preservation - Section 106 Regulations - February 12, 2026

The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP) hosted its first meeting on the Donald Trump era on February 12, 2026. At the meeting, members of the ACHP discussed a proposal to revise the federal government's Section 106 regulations. The regulations require tribal consultation whenever development projects affect cultural, historic and sacred sites.
