On this episode I talk with Aaron and Alex Greene. Aaron is the founder and CEO of College Liftoff. Alex, his wife, is the marketing director. They have a podcast called Affording College with Aaron Greene. The podcast is utilizing their expertise in college planning. And what is interesting about the podcast and their industry, which is very, very young, is how they explain to their listeners that they have a problem that they need to address when they start preparing their students to go to college, financially. Basically, right now we're looking at $1.3 trillion debt in college loans. And with their podcast, they're looking to address this situation to help families get away from walking out of the four year, the six year, or the eight year college ride with as little a debt as possible. Utilizing available scholarships, picking the best college that they should be picking for their student, all mixed in with trying to figure out how much information should they give away during each podcast. It's tricky. But I think a lot of businesses do encounter this when they start to create a podcast that shows off their expertise in their field. How much information do you give away? And I think they do a great job of explaining their process and their mindset of what they do with the podcast. Hope you enjoy and thanks for taking notes with me.
