The Banana Factory doorbreekt dat systeem door deze ‘afgekeurde’ bananen te redden en te verwerken tot hoogwaardige puree. Die puree wordt vervolgens gebruikt als ingrediënt in onder andere bakkerijproducten. Zo verandert wat eerst afval was in een waardevolle grondstof.
