Brown's research focuses on Pan-African, Socialist, and Feminist social movements in Venezuela, the US, and the broader African Diaspora.  She is a member of the All-African People's Revolutionary Party (GC), and can be found on twitter @PanAfrikFem_PhD.  She also cohosts the Life.
