AfriForum's private prosecutions unit head, Gerrie Nel, says they are prepared to escalate legal action over allegations linked to ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula and his 2016 Dubai family trip which cost over R600-thousand. Nel briefed the media earlier today that AfriForum has exhausted engagements with the National Prosecuting Authority. He says if no decisive action is taken, they will pursue private prosecution.
