In Texas, a grand jury has indicted a 61-year-old man in connection with two of the most notorious cold cases tied to the Texas Killing Fields, more than four decades after the victims vanished. In Washington D.C., two men are now in custody charged with the brutal robbery and murder of a resident who opened his apartment door, only to be beaten, strangled, bound, and left in a fire set after his death. In Virginia, the search for a missing 18-year-old ended in heartbreak after his body was recovered from a pond, with investigators saying his death is connected to a separate homicide discovered just days earlier in the same county. And in Los Angeles, Fleetwood Mac legend Lindsey Buckingham was attacked outside a Santa Monica building by a woman investigators describe as a stalking suspect, who threw an unknown substance on him before fleeing the scene.
