Afternoon Prayer

Have you shared the love of Jesus Christ with anyone today? I don't mean did you preach to anyone or quote some scripture to anyone today. This is very important and critical, but you have to personalize scripture in order to be more effective in sharing. What do I mean by that? We as believers need to put the scriptural passages that we read from scripture and we need to put them into practice. You see, the bible is meant to be lived out, not just quoted. So we have to be out there sharing the love of Christ by deed first, before we can start quoting scriptural passages to people. We have to feed the hungry, help the homeless, welcome the alien, visit the sick, tolerate those who are different, pray for the needs of others, etc. In doing these things and more, we are doing as Christ did, we are loving our brothers and sisters.
