I was on vacation in the mountains and hotel where I was staying with my parents had a small club in the basement. One afternoon, it was open for cleaning, and I stepped inside to take a look. I was instantly struck by the mixer and the turntables. I haven't stopped since. For years, I played indie-rock in various clubs, but then, with the arrival of big-beat, I had a sudden epiphany for electronic music. About the Card 30: Summer (Emkel) This card belongs to the Seasons cards: The seasons speak about the world, our surrounding, independent of our meddling. They advise and give council on how to approach life as a big picture. Also tell about what was and what’s coming. Each season has it’s own qualities. The bearer needs to recognize in them what he reflects, what he needs. This card will point you in a direction, not necessarily with the strength of a command but rather guide you. Iron Will that rule as the source of things. Animal instinct, impulse and courage. Egoism, strength, bravery. Energy of life. Vitality. To Emkel corresponded growth and it was consider a time for free will, impulses and reckless behavior, the prominence of the instinct. In this stage selfness and egoism came to the surface but also his potential, bravery and courage. How did the meaning of the tarot card inspire the journey of this mix? Inspired by the Summer (Emkel) tarot card, my mix explores the transition from "what was" to "what’s coming". It creates a constant dialogue between the human side - represented by the raw instinct of house and disco - and the digital future of AI, manifested through sharp Italo tracks. Rejecting the predictability of modern, often monotone sets, the selection embraces the "egoism and courage" of the card, using a bold blend of genres to follow a path of pure creative impulse.
