AGING and Motherhood

This week on the podcast, Hallie and Katie talk about aging and motherhood. Both of the mamas started their families later in life and now, they are raising babies and toddlers as they enter their 40s. Hallie admits she often thinks about what it might have been like being a younger mom and imagines that it might have been easier to deal with those last night feeds and getting up and down off the floor to play with the kiddos. But, she is grateful she was able to focus on her career, travel and live a full life before entering motherhood.Katie, who met her husband, Jason, at the end of 2019 agrees that while being an older mom comes with its challenges, the timing was perfect. Now, she’s committed to taking care of herself so she is able to be there for her girls. Katie also reveals that she is starting to feel like herself again after having back-to-back pregnancies, crediting her new self-care routine for getting her pink back.
