I didn’t know the language, I had no money,and everything around me felt unfamiliar and overwhelming. Every day wasa struggle just to survive and figure out how life worked in this newplace.I had to work in factories and take on any job I could find. The workwas hard and the days were long, but I kept going because I had apurpose. I wanted a better life not only for myself but also for myfamily. I wanted my parents and my younger siblings to have a betterfuture, especially the chance for a good education and a more stablelife.Living far away from family brought a deep sense of loneliness. Therewere many moments of isolation, working long hours and carrying theweight of responsibility. Life felt quiet and empty at times, but thedetermination to survive and support my loved ones kept me movingforward.Looking back now, I realize that the difficulties and struggles werealso my greatest teachers. Every obstacle helped shape who I am today.The hardships taught me resilience, patience, and gratitude. Withoutthose challenges, I might not have grown into the person I am now.Today, I feel thankful for the journey—even the painful parts. I’mgrateful for the struggles, the obstacles, and the lessons that camewith them. They helped build strength and gave meaning to the path I’vewalked.In this episode, I want to share encouragement for anyone who isstarting a new life in a foreign country. No matter how difficult thejourney may feel, remember to give yourself strength and keep movingforward.
