Exercise Kummundoo is an Air Force community engagement program which delivered dental health services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. In September 2019 Air Force personnel worked out of the local Aboriginal Medical Centre – Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS), providing dental care and specialist dental health services. Through Exercise Kummundoo, Air Force supports the traditional owners of the region, the Yarawa peoples, as well as the wider Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. Air Force Indigenous Liaison Officers also worked with Kimberley Aboriginal groups to build leadership capacity and confidence, and build local knowledge of Indigenous employment pathways within Air Force. Air Force supports the traditional owners of the region, the Yawuru peoples.
