Aktivní ženy středověku. Jak viditelný otisk v umění zanechaly mecenášky, písařky nebo zakladatelky klášterů?

Helena Dáňová a Klára Mezihoráková z Ústavu dějin umění AV ČR se zajímají o umělecká díla, která vznikla díky aktivním ženám ve středověku. Činorodé byly třeba královny Eliška Rejčka, Blanka z Valois nebo Anna Svídnická. Umění ale podporovaly i movitější měšťanky. Ještě méně známou kapitolou historie umění jsou ženy autorky, třeba francouzská písařka a básnířka Christine de Pizan. Dosud opomíjenou vrstvu dějin odkrývá nový obor nazvaný queenship studies, který se nyní nově etabluje i v našem prostoru.
