Alcoholic Seahorse Dad Realized She's Pregnant at 35 weeks

She was really distracted because her doctor had told her to get tested for a testosterone induced brain tumor the year she became old enough to drink alcohol. And boy did she drink. When women who don't identify as transgender want to take the restaurant isotrenitoin, aka Accutane, they have to attest to use of two forms of contraception as well as have a negative pregnancy test every month in order to refill the medication. Yet women given testosterone, which is also a known human teratogen capable of causing specific birth defects, they can go 8 months of refills without a negative pregnancy test. Fortunately the fetus was a male, so the testosterone did not cause a DSD, but it still may have affected the pregnancy and fetus negatively in other ways, in addition to the alcohol and drug use.
